eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Brooklyn has nothing on the inside. We need to keep driving into the lane. We'll keep getting 2nd chance opportunities. Brooklyn will go on a run at some point but I like this so far.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 What happened to Lowry? I only saw him on the floor being stretched but didn't really hear what happened to him.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I hope after this season I never have to see Salmons in a Raptors uniform again. Not cause of anything he did this game, just a general observation.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Salmons is so useless! He actually did something with Amir there, though.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 He actually did something with Amir there, though. Good play there, although Amir helped him a lot by catching the ball, it was pretty high up.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 What happened to Lowry? I only saw him on the floor being stretched but didn't really hear what happened to him. Just keeping him loose. He's been banged up lately
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Good play there, although Amir helped him a lot by catching the ball, it was pretty high up. I think he hesitated going for a lob and then got caught in between a lob and a pass.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Lowry still not back on the floor?
GD Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 He didn't look healthy last game either. Good time to rest him though, Demar is in Kobe mode.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Now that Valanciunas is back in the game, can we please feed him a bit in the post?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Jonas Valanciunas: glorified screen-setter.
theblujay Verified Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Salmons doing a decent job on JJ, but I still want Fields in
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Derozan on fire. Still not a huge fan of him consistently settling for the long two. Keep going inside and attacking.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Salmons doing a decent job on JJ, but I still want Fields in Fields is out. Hurt.
SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I have come to not mind the derozan deep 2s, as long as they are good shots off pin-downs etc..
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Fields is out. Hurt. That sucks, Salmons will probably get 20+ minutes now. He should not be allowed to shoot.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I have come to not mind the derozan deep 2s, as long as they are good shots off pin-downs etc.. He can get cold in a hurry though. Great start but keep going inside. They have no post defense.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 That sucks, Salmons will probably get 20+ minutes now. He should not be allowed to shoot. That's why I like Fields. Plays D and NEVER looks to shoot. Salmons loves chucking.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I have come to not mind the derozan deep 2s, as long as they are good shots off pin-downs etc.. When he's hot you let him, but when he's struggling he needs to drive more, he still averages like 10 FT attempts per game, but it could be even more.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Terrible sequence, good pass but Patterson hesitated.
TRM Verified Member Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Gotta hang on to this lead to end the half. If we can get a 15ish point lead at halftime, that would be excellent.
