o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Tigers farted around long enough to have their pitcher throw a meatball!! 8-2!!! LET'S GO BLUE JAYS!!!
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 8-3 with our bad line up lol. it's a Canada day miracle!
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Wait 7 points??????????? Me and you bro!! Im in a playoff position now? #startedfromthebottom 5points +2 bonus for it being a 3 run homer!
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Who needs Lind, Encarnacion, Lawrie and Cabrera.
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 And this is why Detroit is not contending right now--bad bullpen and an inconsistent rotation after Scherzer and Verlander.
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Got those runs back +1. Huge inning. Need those insurance runs today never know when Dickey will blowup. Aside from a couple balls left up, he's been pitching well today.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Who here would rather have Rajai there then Melky going forward I'd like to have both...
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 And this is why Detroit is not contending right now--bad bullpen and an inconsistent rotation after Scherzer and Verlander. Even Verlander has been pretty inconsistent (although most pitchers would gladly take his inconsistency). Detroit's only real problem though is the BP imo.
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Who here would rather have Rajai there then Melky going forward I'd like a Melky with healthy legs starting, with Davis on the bench, getting occasional starts against lefties.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Rajai oozing serious value He might be our best performance per $ on the whole team. Unless Cecil is cheap I don't know his contract.
kcjaysfan Verified Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Wow, we're 30-20 in the last 50 games. That's actually better than I thought we'd be.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Tough play, dickey giving up big hits.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 I'd like to have both... Agree If Lind is out awhile we could DH Davis or Melky (if he's back before Lind) I'm so glad we kept Rajai. Best 4th OF in the AL.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Who here would rather have Rajai there then Melky going forward hell no. Davis would eventually suck if he's a regular. He's a solid bench/platoon player.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 He might be our best performance per $ on the whole team. Unless Cecil is cheap I don't know his contract. Cecil is 510k this year I think.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Tough play, dickey giving up big hits. Yeah they're hitting him pretty hard. Good thing we've scored 8 runs.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Cecil is 510k this year I think. If so he's best value player in the team easily
digiblader Verified Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 True. Detroit needs to fix its bullpen soon--or the ALDS will be represented in the Central by Cleveland.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Who here would rather have Rajai there then Melky going forward I say start Rajai vs lefties and have him come in as a defensive replacement / pinch run with the lead late in the game like he has been.
Auldphartt Verified Member Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 He might be our best performance per $ on the whole team. Unless Cecil is cheap I don't know his contract. Doesn't Kawasaki make minimum wage?
