I like the guy, but he's been bad this series. First he brings in Cecil in a game in which they were down 0-7 and Cecil throws 20 pitches. Then Cecil pitches the next day a bit tired. Anyway....

 

I can't tell whether he's a good manager or just the benefactor of a great bullpen. He lets Oliver pitch in to many important spots for me.

Agreed. Whats the point in even keeping him around? You basically tell the guy hes not good enough to be hitting coach but instead of getting rid of him you make him first base coach?
