Playing Thole 2 of 5 games instead of 1 of 5 is not the same as playing him consistenly. The rest may do JPA some good, he'll have more time to tweet, shave, bang more teenage chicks and recover from it.

Same s*** bro. Thole is a awful hitter (Thole, Boni, izturis at same time in the same lineup.......no way)

I'd rather he focus on baseball, he'll be so jelly legged from the teenagers that you'll see more throws from the knee's on stolen base attempts

More thrilling news would be"The Blue Jays just signed 60 year old Johnny Bench!" I'm. sure he at 60 could do better then what we have now. We can re-learn him to hit at Buffalo, just ask Anthony Gose.

Never said Thole wasn't an awful hitter. The issue is that JPA is playing 4/5 games, I think he should play less than that. No big deal though, as I said above, C is a blackhole.

I was listening to Mike Wilner after are loss to Boston and was shocked that the likes of JPA is leading catchers in Home Runs!? This is shocking! Why are good hitting catchers so hard to find THESE DAYS!? That wasn't always the problem. Aren't there any Elston Howards or Yogi Berras on the horizon? The Yankees were once so good in the 1950's and 60's they had both at the same time Yogi and Elston. One game one of the two played left field, the next game they switched. And this was before FREE AGANCY! Then along came Thurman Munson as the Yankees all-star catcher in the 70's. Where have all the good catchers gone, gone to graveyards everyone, when will they ever learn, when will they ever learn...............

Blue Jays Release Ramon Hernandez

by Tim Dierkes, Jul 9 at 3:55 PM CST

The Blue Jays released catcher Ramon Hernandez, according to a Buffalo Bisons press release.

Hernandez was designated for assignment by the Rockies in March, then traded to the Dodgers, and then designated by the Dodgers and released in June. The Blue Jays inked him to a minor league deal, but he appeared in only five games for the Bisons.

If they decide to demote JP to AAA and call up a reliever I'd still be happy, even if it is a 2 man bench lol

Great news they're making room for Jimenez in AAA. I was disappointed to see Hernandez clogging up the depth chart.

If this was supposed to be funny, kudos to you. If it wasn't supposed to be funny, I still laughed out loud...
