TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Yeah I was talking about Uehara. Confused me for a bit as well Delabar is another story. Jays also got a lot more in return with that deal now hiring weighted balls guy. Turned Janssen into an elite closer and Cecil into an absolute BEAST. The crazy thing is that Janssen says he doesn't think he's gotten any gains from the program yet, other than a bit of arm maintenance. He said he can't wait for the offseason to start working towards getting some actual gains. Imagine him coming back even stronger than he is right now.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 JP so bad...s***** loss, bautista's error might have been the difference.
DH12 Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Boston looks like a playoff bound team Jays look like a last place team
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I just showed my roommates (not baseball people at all) the comparisons in dimensions between Fenway and the Dome... They were both just flabbergasted that Fenway park was allowed.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 .500 doesn't sounds as good when you're coming from the other direction.
Arkadium Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 ugh, too bad this game could have been a lot different had bautista caught that ball. Need to win tomorrow cannot fall further behind. I just watched the replay.... awful play
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 it's gotten so bad that I think Melky is using the handicap toilet and gets a parking spot. s***, I use the handicap toilet. Them stalls are spacious and usually less disgusting than most public stalls.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Boston looks like a playoff bound team Jays look like a last place team You look like you should probably not post anymore
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Don't wanna hear about Lincoln-snider... None of us liked it but it really doesn't matter. Lincoln is a dime-a-dozen reliever and Snider is (sadly) a replacement level AAAA outfielder. The trade was inconsequential. But yeah I hated it at the time.

Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 1-3 after the win streak.........cannot fall behind anymore. The big bats have done nothing.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Pffftttt..........Jays will take the next 3! not if they keep spotting the other team a touch down they wont.

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 It sucks when you get defeated in one inning. Makes the rest of the game seem meaningless. Sox looked like s*** the entire game but that second inning gave them a win.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Fenway is my favourite park. I love the uniqueness. Sure, I love the novelty of the park. They should shut it down and make it a tourist attraction.

Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Yeah the Sox weren't great tonight Jays just strainght blew it in the second Bautista has to catch that ball.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 0.500 after 76 games. They probably need to go 52 and 34 the rest of the way. if 45 of the wins are against the AL east it might be enough.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 When I was a kid and I first saw that park I thought it was ********. I still do, I've just gotten a lot more used to it now. It's a urine stained garbage pile and should be bulldozed tomorrow, even if that means the Jays/Sox game has to be held at the local softball stadium with a gravel field.
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Oh well--try again tomorrow. Next three starters have issues with wildness--and Webster isn't very good in his first few starts. We should have a good shot vs. Doubront and Dempster as well. This was probably the game we were going to lose--Wang just doesn't pitch well in Boston(4.98 ERA, not including tonight). At least we did make it interesting--it's not like we were blown out. Guess we shouldn't let him pitch vs. Boston.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Fenway is my favourite park. I love the uniqueness. Have you ever been? Did you bring noseplugs?
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Everyone looks like a last place team to Boston--they have huge leads vs. the Yankees, O's and Rays in the standings.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Yeah the Sox weren't great tonight Jays just strainght blew it in the second Wang was flaccid
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Well, Wang has bad career numbers vs. Boston--what do you expect?
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Wang was if your Wang is flaccid, you should see a doctor.
Tuco Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Theres really no way around it. We have to aquire another stud starter if we have any chance to become a good consistant baseball team.
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 Boston is really stretching its lead now--4.5 up on the Yanks. And they're probably hoping Baltimore buries them(or New York beats up Baltimore)
digiblader Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 We've got the deadline coming up.. they'll be options on the market.
