JaysWS2013 Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Does anyone notice how Bautista on the first pitch is always somehow backing away from the pitch? I have noticed a lot of pitchers will be throwing first pitch strikes to him. He used to be so aggressive and I think he should start swinging at first pitches as they seem to be straight down the middle. What do you guys think?
itsawrap Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 He's definitely taking a lot of first pitches that look like meatballs down the middle. I've seen a lot of guys break out of slumps by stop being patient little pansies and using a more aggressive approach. JB needs to start doing that.
backontop Verified Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 He frenquently has some kind of mechanical problem, too much for a so-called super star, I mean I am getting tired of hearing Baustita is in another long ugly slump, but you know because his name is Baustita, he will be OK. Are they referring to that great Mexicon leader by the name of Bausitta? This guy should be batting 6th or lower when he stanks. Its just common sense when a play is hot move him up and when he is down, move him down, don't worry about their egos. Any MLB player should produce no matter where he bats.
backontop Verified Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Baustitta, scared and backing out from home plate, is that the kind of guy you would want playing on your NFL team? Besides the Jays being out of the pennant race in September, seeing the NFL teams with real tough coaches is such a breath of fresh air every September.

backontop Verified Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Howdy dougi gougi, says what is this? Its not rocket science doogi googi. Baseball players are trained to become hypochondriacs these days. If they can't contribute, then they are sick or injured.
backontop Verified Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 Mr. Dineke, why do you think NFL coaches are so tough for? Do you know any thing about the NFL. Have you ever heard a coach talk to his star players? We need that in MLB. or at least with the Blue Jays, I can assure you, those babied multi-millionairres wouldn't go in so many ugly slumps!
backontop Verified Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 I remember this vividly, lol Howdie googie, is that all you can say? This guy is overrated. The Jays problems in April were too many goose egges on the scoreboard. They got 5 runs in 27 innings in Tampa. The same in early April, Of course two weeks later are starting pitching became a second problem, we took care of that, but these nervous, dumb batters keep putting up too many goose egges on the scoreboard. Baltimore and Boston are laughing. Management better find a solution, or it will be, "WAIT UNTIL NEXT YEAR" AGAIN!

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 What I hate and drives me nuts is when Bautista fake bunts. You're not kidding anyone buddy. I think he's done this 3-4 times this year.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 How are you not banned yet? I don't think "not being remotely coherent" is a bannable offence here...
GD Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 I can't really read anything in this thread.
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 28, 2013 Posted June 28, 2013 How does the NFL and its 'tough coaches' have anything to do with the Jays or Jose Bautista whatsoever?
