This works perfectly for us too. It gives AA time to evaluate both McGowan and Perez, both of whom were equally bad today, but more so Perez.

Only reason he wasn't 100% is cause he didn't pitch for like a week.

I'd release him anyways. The guy is old and with enough exposure he will be seen as what he truly is - a mediocre reliever.
