Anemic0ffense Verified Member Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 He'll be a huge jolt to this lineup....... As if we needed another jolt, right? lol... Good time to be a Jays fan
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2013 Author Posted June 23, 2013 This works perfectly for us too. It gives AA time to evaluate both McGowan and Perez, both of whom were equally bad today, but more so Perez.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Thursday? Meh. Oh well. Will be a good day.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Atlanta. Thanks Why more rehab games? More reps on defence? Full games?
Metallijay Verified Member Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Rather him be up tomorrow, don't see what diff 3 games in Double AA will make.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Rather him be up tomorrow, don't see what diff 3 games in Double AA will make. Same here. Unless he's still not comfortable playing full games.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 They don't want to make a decision yet about who to send down plus TB has the turf plus no reason to rush him now that the team clicks so well the way it is.
flafson Verified Member Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 If anyone wants to listen, Buffalo are playing in the 13th inning right now, Reyes at DH had 2 for 5 so far. http://www.milb.com/multimedia/audio.jsp?sid=t422&home=t422&away=t234
flafson Verified Member Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 They just pulled Reyes out of the game in the 14th, so he won't continue to hit, oh well...
admin Site Manager Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Might be stupid, as he's obviously an upgrade, but maybe they just wanna ride this streak out into TB.

I really think it has alot to do with it, the current roster is doing really well, why mess with it? Buffalo just won, Nanita who replaced Reyes bunted and they made a mistake and Nickeas scored from 2nd base.

If you're on a winning streak you just keep going! until you lose everything.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Bring back Happy Reyes! http://gamereax.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/reyesdugout.gif
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 until you lose everything. Hahaha. Fortunately you can only lose one game at a time in baseball.

My theory is that AA is working on a trade and needs a few more days to get it done... http://0-media-cdn.foolz.us/ffuuka/board/tg/image/1340/08/1340089195551.jpg
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Knowing Reyes................we will see him the tuesday at Tampa.
Wilnercibia Verified Member Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 I would bring him back tomorrow if he is healthy enough and send down Perez, I don't see how adding Reyes at SS can really "have a dampening effect on the current chemistry" lol, you are adding a world class caliber player here.

A highly charismatic one no less, who was in the dugout every day until a week ago...

You guys keep saying to send down Perez, he doesn't have options, why would they give him up? Only reason he wasn't 100% is cause he didn't pitch for like a week.

Only reason he wasn't 100% is cause he didn't pitch for like a week. I'd release him anyways. The guy is old and with enough exposure he will be seen as what he truly is - a mediocre reliever. I'd have have McGowan.
