I did read a study that was something like Brody isn't that much more valuable than an average goaltender that did make some sense, but I like the idea of having a star goalie is overrated but having solid goaltending is necessary.

On a decent team, yeah, but look at how often the Leafs get outshot. We rely on top-10 goaltending to even make the first round.

I loved the plays Gonzalez used to make and he had some nice pop when he didn't swing and miss. Come to think of it, he was basically Arencibia 10 years ago (except he could play defense lol)
