DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 $9.5M would be enough to cover Wells' 2013 salary. Kendrick for Stroman + Carreno + $9.5M... Maybe with another C guy like Crouse? Anyone want to put on the LAA hat, is that more enticing than Stroman + Nolin?
Ziggyy108 Verified Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 From a fan perspective .... No because id rather get more prospects than Cash, especially in the situation they are in. But from a FO perspective probably. Id still rather trade Osuna over Stroman though
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Would anyone do a Gose for Kolton Wong?
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I wouldn't do it for Wong but, I would for Billy Hamilton.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 danny espinosa would be a great addition to our team if we can get him for a reasonable price. Natural SS to so he can slide over there for the yearly Reyes injury stints.
RIPEXPOS Verified Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Would anyone do a Gose for Kolton Wong? No.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Much like I want the Jays to make a run at HK ....... I think the Cards may take a run at Erick Aybar Seems like a good match too. Cardinals could dangle one of those young starters in front of the Angels for Aybar.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 danny espinosa would be a great addition to our team if we can get him for a reasonable price. Natural SS to so he can slide over there for the yearly Reyes injury stints. Danny Espinosa started at shortstop on both Saturday and Sunday for the Triple-A Syracuse Chiefs. That is actually Espinosa's natural position -- he made the move to second base only when he was called up to the Nationals in 2010. Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post suspects (and his insider sources agree) that Espinosa's defensive abilities are being showcased for a potential trade. Anthony Rendon is currently serving as Washington's starting second baseman. ookokoko
Jays Verified Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 How about sending them the 8M the Marlins sent to the Blue Jays in the Bonifacio trade? haha I love how you call it the Bonifacio trade.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Would anyone do a Gose for Kolton Wong? Hell yeah I would do that.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 ookokoko What would the Nats be looking for? It seems they have everything, starting pitching, bullpen. Offense is underachieving, but Harper's coming back soon.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 haha I love how you call it the Bonifacio trade. Haha. Gotta have some fun!
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Would anyone do a Gose for Kolton Wong? Hell yeah I would do that. You, me and Jays FO would but The Cards wouldn't
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 I definitely would, but St. Louis would not. We have Barreto, the same kind of player. btw Barreto 1-3 today
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 You guys are crazy. Saying No to Gose for Wong? The Cardinals would say NO.
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 What's with all the love for Wong. He's putting up decent numbers in the PCL but, they aren't great. IMO he'll be a solid starter but, he isn't likely to become an AS type of player.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 You, me and Jays FO would but The Cards wouldn't What about Gose, Izzy and a BP arm? Loup or Oliver.
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 And Gose has all-star upside? Absolutely. At the end of the day Wong is Marco Scutaro-lite which is a decent player but nothing to get all worked up about.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 We have Barreto, the same kind of player. btw Barreto 1-3 today 1-3 in the GCL, what is he, 4 years away if all goes well?
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 ROFLMAO! This thread is hilarious.......just so entertaining. Much better conversation on this board
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 What about Gose, Izzy and a BP arm? Loup or Oliver. Terrible trade for the Jays.

Started in May of this year by disgruntled former members of mlb.com's Jays forum.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Welcome. Not sure how it took you years to find an active jays forum though. haha I was a very active poster on another popular sports forum (covers all sports all teams) but it was the most obnoxious place I ever posted, I hated it. Was looking for a Jays-only forum for a while since then but if I did find any remotely active forums, they had horrendous layouts so it was very hard to keep track of unread threads. This one seems incredibly active and looks great so I joined immediately. Looking forward to posting here from now on.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 24, 2013 Posted June 24, 2013 Started in May of this year by disgruntled former members of mlb.com's Jays forum. May of this year?! That would explain why I never found it until now, but wow, you guys have this many posts and members in a month?

The mlb.com Jays forum was very active, and like I said, most of us here migrated from that cesspool.
