6 DAMN GAMES IN A ROW!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! This is what Oakland must have felt like a year ago! These wins are definitely keeping me from going insane with exam studying.... which is also the reason for the delays in the past few days, my bad, but Chem and Math don't study themselves and nor do exams write themselves :P

Scoring Plays:

Bottom of the 8th:

Jays score (Jays lead 2-0): Maicer Izturis comes through again! After breaking up the no-no in the 6th, he hits a bloop single in between Colvin and Fowler to score in Rajai Davis and the smart Colby Rasmus!

Missed most of this but saw the parts that mattered. Exciting win, and the crowd seemed really into it.

Might be going to the game tomorrow, because the Jeff Francis vs. Esmil Rogers pitching matchup is just too compelling. The Jays shouldn't have trouble scoring against Francis; I don't understand how he gets anyone out with the stuff he has these days. I guess he still has the tricky delivery for lefties but our right handed power bats should be able to tee off on him.

The starters have begun a very impressive streak of performances in a row

Good to see

First pitcher to f*** up will look bad, so pressures on to keep it rolling

Fatcow, remember in true/false question. The answer will always be C. :)

This is how I got through highschool and later a s*** arts degree. It works... well except for essays!

Just taking it a game a time , Series at a time . Win one game then win the series . Lets win this series but still the big question is what they do in the 10 games against the AL East .

What a crazy line . Win 2 zip with only 3 hits and 4 walks but erased by hitting into 3 double plays

I always love when the answer to a multiple choice question is somewhere in the other questions. If the teacher isn't careful you can usually get a mark or two just by reading all the questions.

Yup, always a great move.

This is how to tell how good a teacher is. The best ones care more careful than this. It's telling that a lot of my teachers do this haha.

Ha ha, FRESH PRINCE FOR LIFE! ( if thats where you got the "just go with C" from as well).

During one of my finals this past spring, I had a short answer question which I had no idea how to answer. So i put something like " Not sure, but im gonna go with C". TA gave me .5 marks out of 3.

Most do it on purpose to raise the marks. They actually tell you to look at the Essay questions first and then do the MC, so you get idea and rememeber key terms when answering the essays

Yep! Or which teachers are the most evil lol, it's not bad to reward observant students. My high school chem teacher took a course to make her multiple choice more difficult, the questions were insane.

We had a teacher last year who teaches two different classes, same subject, and my class's average was higher than the other's. So she gave us (not them) a RIDICULOUSLY hard test to lower our averages. Did horribly. The highest mark from anyone was a low 80.

The ones that I know that do it are just lazy as hell in general.

JJ's trade value goes up...and the likelihood of him getting traded goes down.

I agree , Hate it but you are probably right . Starting to look like we will get to 500 and dump more of our farm for a slim shot

Teacher? You mean I got lectured on the definition of rape by a kid who isn't even out of highschool? Oh, what a fickle world we live in.

Hundred percent. I would do horrible things for a top50 for Johnson.

I really think you could get kolton Wong out of the cards for a pkg of Oliver and JJ but on the other hand If we get close and JJ wins us 4 games in August puts us in the race and we see 40 k crowds in the stands in Sept cause we are in the thick of a race plus a comp pick then AA will have been right business wise .

Josh Johnson finally gets FIPpy. A 1.15 FIP game.

Pre game FIP/xFIP: 4.61/4.07

Post game: 3.96/3.70

Still don't think he looked "great" though. I'm no scout, but I would thank the Rockies for some of those strikeouts.

i was actually playing some baseball of my own so i couldn't watch but i kept hearing updates about how it was like 0-0 in the 7th which was a really satisfying scoreline as i wanted jj to pitch great so badly.

these are the type of wins you need, de la rosa is a stud and taking the W from this was huge as now we should destroy francis. with any luck we can sweep!

St. Louis leads baseball in starter ERA by a quarter of a run (at 2.97). They could fill two whole rotations of average or better pitchers, no need for JJ at all. And Wong is going to be a stud, they're not going to move him just because of a current logjam. I don't know what they're going to do, but they have many options.

I really don't think Wong will be anything special. Maybe an average 2B.

But if I'm Moz, right now I'd be thinking about selling the overrated Freese at value before he gets expensive. Matt Carpenter isn't really a natural 2B. Stick him at third in 2014, Wong at second.

They could use a SS or a real CF going forward.

David Freese + Matt Adams probably gets you a f***ing stud at one of those positions.

wat? lol you mean multiple choice?

I heard somewhere where a student was trying to be a smartass and try to finish the test fastest. First half of the test was multiple choice and second part true/false. He answered C for every question in the scantron not realizing true/false doesn't have a C lol

LOL hahaha that happened to me once, but I fixed it before I handed it in lol. I picked Cs and Ds for T/F questions when I had like not time left for a Physics test
