I really appreciated the umpire's restraint. Other umpires would have been too trigger happy and sent him off screwing up the game.

 

This is probably a case of the umpire realizing he blew the call, so he gave Bautista some rope.

Like Jonn said he probably knew he got it wrong but most umps still throw him out
