CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 This is so refreshing.. hearing our homer broadcasters finally call out some Jays players and the organization! I feel like Buck treated himself to an extra G+T tonight.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Less than 100 days til college football and NFL... I was a little surprised to see Yahoo Fantasy football open today. Must be less than a hundred for college though
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Goodbye 27th pitcher to pitch for the jays in only the firs two months
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 93 days till the ducks kick off.. so even closer to college football!
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 That was the rumor. d'Arnaud for Latos and it was rejected by AA. Then the Padres deal went through a few weeks later rejected Gio for Syndergaard+++
CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 You gotta think that Redmond is already thinking about what's in his "So you've been DFA'd" package.
deadlee Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 On the ligher side of things (is there one), this trend of ex-jays killing us might be useful for AA to leverage in trades for our current roster... "hey guys, don't worry they may suck now, but as soon as they leave they will be superstars..."
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I was a little surprised to see Yahoo Fantasy football open today. Must be less than a hundred for college though UNC vs USC August 29th to open the season. I'm super excited to see my tarheels on a big stage. And of course fantasy football is the best.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 At least we can look forward to next week's draft where AA will draft his high school track star whose never played baseball before.
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 And you can imagine the Red Sox would love to bury the Yankees right now--Yanks are about to lose 5 in a row, and have Baltimore and Tampa breathing down their necks. I can see the Sox sweeping the Yanks.. Overbay and Wells stopped hitting, Ichiro's been garbage, and Cano's their only bat close to .300 AVG. Not to mention Sabathia's pitching with reduced velocity. All of the pitching matchups in the series favour Boston.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Really?! He gonna get suspended. No, it's Cito you're not allowed to criticize.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 f*** now everyone in the pools is going to get a look at Alex Wood...stupid f***ing Yahoo hasn't added him yet
DH12 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Reyes coming back would only be a marginal improvement upon Kawasaki who has been playing well lately. Don't expect to ride Reyes all the way to the playoffs.
leaffie Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 us guys hating JPA is one thing but I thought a female hating him was grounds for vagina removal. I couldn't care if Adonis'played on the team, if he can't catch the ball, get rid of him.

theblujay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Another series, another split/loss. How many series have we won this year? 3?
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 top-5 pick 2014 http://static.fjcdn.com/gifs/THE_56d9e2_1400099.gif fap fap fap
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Ackley will do better than Izzy and Boni combined. Throw him at 2nd, especially since Seattle don't view him as anything big. Texas aren't stupid. They'll demand more than EE or Bautista Meh,they may bite for Bautista straight up if he continues having a good year. Bautista is OPSing .950 and is pretty much a safe bet for 40 HR this year and the next three or four. Texas has Andrus and love the HR / OBP types like Bautista. The Jays have to look ahead and trade Bautista while he can still fetch someone like Profar. Yeah, you may have to sweeten the pot a bit. Maybe throw in a B type prospect. Jimenez?
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Bonerface would have probably knocked that somewhere for a triple.
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Save that for July--things can change between now and the trade deadline.
DH12 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Another series, another split/loss. How many series have we won this year? 3? we've won that many 3? That is surprising.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 So... anybody else find it hard to believe that the Pacers are hanging with the Heat so far?

That wont happen because Daniels isn't retarded.
Cello Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 23-31 8 games below .500 Better luck vs San Diego tomorrow
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I couldn't care if Adonis'played on the team, if he can't catch the ball, get rid of him. Adrian?

"hey guys, don't worry they may suck now, but as soon as they leave they will be superstars..." Might be the best way to do it. Maybe it'll encourage trade in the division. The other teams will know if they aquire the players they'll kill the Jays. Seriously though, it seems almost every one that's played for this team and stunk out loud goes to another and puts up better than average numbers. Some only manage it for a couple years but some seem to take off.
