fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 Dickey has a 5.18 ERA. With a kind .281 BABIP
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Someone needs to call Dickey out. He was calling the bats out earlier this year. The bats stepped up. Your turn punk.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I knew RA's numbers would go up a bit in the AL East but this is just horrible. All year long. He's faced this team before and he just gives runs back. Either he's hurt, he's fallen apart mentally, he's not adjusting well enough, he's too old, something is wrong. They're making contact too much, and solid contact.
Iluvbjs Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I'm just tired of this team and all the ******** already. It's funny because when I heard they had hired Gibbons as manager I laughed the f*** out loud. He's been struggling all night and his struggles against Atlanta are well documented.....yet this fat hillbilly f*** leaves him in there. Saw this train wreck coming from a f***ing million miles away. Every time they get into a position where they need a big win, they f*** it up every way they can, including sideways. I'm just done watching this team for a bit. The lack of professionalism I see is utterly f***in embarassin and atrocious.
Pete_7 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Attaboy R.A., way to respond when your team ties it
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 If hes hurt they should just shut him down, because he isnt helping anyone playing hurt

IBTrini Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Re read my post.i said tonight was different being in a NL park. Ideally might be Bautista to third, and either Lind or EE to LF. I'm assuming that since we haven't been doing that Bautista's back is too sore to do it outside of an emergency. I guess that's a reasonable suggestion but the defence at the corner OF would be really bad with Lind and Cabrera - big OF and both will be slow there.
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Dickey: 5.18 ERA, 1.41 WHIP Laffey in TO: 4.56 ERA, 1.36 WHIP Jo-Jo in TO: 5.40 ERA, 1.59 WHIP LOL
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 The Marlins deal looks bad, but at the end of teh day we gave up some half decent prospects and took on salary. Not a HUGE deal. A big deal, but not a HUGE deal. The Dickey trade looks like a downright franchise crippler. Trading a potential COTF and a top of the rotation starter for a guy who doesn't even look like he belongs in the majors. How is the Marlin deal bad? Got Reyes/MB for nothing.. I agree with the rest
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 everytime this team needs a big win, they fall back to playing like crap, no consistency, bad pitching, no hope.

The Marlins trade could have been waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better had we offloaded Buherle in a package with Arencibia and kept Buck as a filler until d'Arnaud comes up. The RA deal sucks so bad, top 20 batting prospect (and #2 catching prospect) and top 40ish pitching prospect who were #1 and #2 in our org for a 39 year old knuckler to play in a closed roof stadium How about the damn Aviles trade?! Rogers for f***ing Aviles?!
Dr Negative Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 The RA Dickey trade might be the worst trade in the history of baseball.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Someone needs to call Dickey out. He was calling the bats out earlier this year. The bats stepped up. Your turn punk. Why do people keep saying he called out the hitters? That was a troll on the old board making s*** up.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 More awesome umpiring. Look, the Braves don't need any more help than Dickey and the D have already given them.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 The RA Dickey trade might be the worst trade in the history of baseball. We got Colon'd by the Mets lol
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 The RA Dickey trade might be the worst trade in the history of baseball. It's bad, but allow me to remind you of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Sirotka
theblujay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Omg... Dickey: 5.18 ERA, 1.41 WHIP Brian Tallet's career: 4.79 ERA, 1.46 WHIP
Dr Negative Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 We got Colon'd by the Mets lol At least Bartolo was good for the Expos.
Metallijay Verified Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Jays aren't winning this game but that strike call was beyond laughable. Still 8 games below .500. Could have been 8 below .500 without trading away prospects and not upping the payroll.

Does he f***ing want a 95+ MPH fireballer? Neil Wagner was that guy. There was K-ROD who was FA who took a MINOR LEAGUE DEAL. Brandon Lyon is only guaranteed 800K this year from the Mets! No one can convince me that AA couldn't get these guys instead of Ismeal f***ing Rogers

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Agreed, that trade was amateurish, makes no sense, never will. Even the Snider for Lincoln deal was a head scratcher...
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 That would be awesome. Unfortunately, nobody above AA actually knows who either of these people are. Aw... then who? LaCava? I think I read somewhere that he's really into advanced metrics, but then again he is AA's right hand man. If this turns into a Marlins situation, AA's got to be fired RIGHT?
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2013 Author Posted May 31, 2013 At least Bartolo was good for the Expos. No kidding. I can't wait until Hutch, Drabek and Stroman all get the call. f*** Dickey
