Rogers actually has good stuff. Not sure why people here said he doesn't. His fastball has a lot of life and its hard. The Slider has nice movement as well. His problem is everything's hard. If he had a decent change-up he would be excellent.

 

You just answered your question, his fastball is also very flat......... He needs another slower pitch to be a starter.

IIRC we had two Carpenters last year and after DFAing one of them, gave the other the same number to save on jerseys. Hilarious. Then AA DFAd the other one a week later.
