The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Step aside son Felix Harvey Lynn Cobb Doubront Davis Locke Hernandez Archer Syndergaard Stratton Darvish Cueto Bailey Parker Maholm Porcello Lyles (bullpen of Perkins, Betancourt, Matusz, Mujica, Russell, Burnett) Wheeler Sanchez Gibson Heredia Mongomery That's a LOT of pitching! Dickey Samardzija Peavy Kuroda Haren Wandy Rod Ryu Colon Volquez Gausman Matt Barnes ZACH MOTHER f***ING LEE Case Closed My top pitchers kicks all your guy's asses! Kershaw (player rank 6th) Buchholz (player rank 12th) Iwakuma (player rank 16th) That's 3 of the top 7 Starters! Plus Jared Weaver, Matt Harrison, Colby Lewis. And then young lottery tickets: Tyler Thornburg, Drew Pomeranz, Kyle McPherson, Matt Magill, and #2 draft pick who will turn into an ACE.. This is after trading Samardizjijza and Grimm.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 This matters very little, but I easily could have had two guys, if I didn't send you Correa, and Gausman didn't get the call. But alas, I have zero, therefore years of toiling in last place are soon to come.. Cry about it
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 At what point will I start getting some respect? 60 over .500? 70? My team is kinda really good. Do you respect A-Rod?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Randy Johnson kinda was the best. Too bad Clemens gets so much of the hype for that era, Johnson was every bit as good. Clemens never hit 300 strikeouts. Johnson was better imo.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Sucks that the Reds already have Winker playing LF. If he was in CF I wouldn't have gotten him that late. He can hit, and that is all I need from him.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Clemens never hit 300 strikeouts. Johnson was better imo. Plus, RJ wasn't a douchebag. Let's just take a minute to realize that RJ put up some ridiculous counting stats despite only breaking into the league at ~25.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Well, at least KL still believes in Zunino. Another HR tonight, no strikeouts. He might be getting better. Age vs. level is still very good. I guess even if he's just a slightly better version of JPA, that's not the worst thing ever in a dynasty league.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 At what point will I start getting some respect? 60 over .500? 70? My team is kinda really good. Lol be prepared. You have now set yourself up for the biggest trolling if you do anything but win this year.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I guess even if he's just a slightly better version of JPA, that's not the worst thing ever in a dynasty league. No it is not. It is the 2nd worst thing ever; next to JPA, which is actually the worst thing ever.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 No it is not. It is the 2nd worst thing ever; next to JPA, which is actually the worst thing ever. Apparently he's the 143rd best player in Yahoo right now. That must be how AA evaluates major league players.

Laika Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 oh, my, fhgwghads These must just be to date, right? Not projections.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 Now this, this I can fap too. You're team has been f***ing money, especially considering Stanton has barely played and you could have had Miguel Cabrera.
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I waste away my ratios some weeks in playing to the matchup, those power rankings won't see that Okay, Jack.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 I waste away my ratios some weeks in playing to the matchup, those power rankings won't see that. Is this amateur hour? We all do that sometimes.
Nox Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I waste away my ratios some weeks in playing to the matchup, those power rankings won't see that. You really should stop posting about your fantasy team. It make me hate you as a poster. Honestly.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 These must just be to date, right? Not projections. This is just to date using Yahoo League Stats. I'm not doing anything that takes me more than 5 min.
TRM Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 You're team has been f***ing money, especially considering Stanton has barely played and you could have had Miguel Cabrera. We don't speak of that. Reported for even mentioning it. Also, 4 games of Hanley..
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 realmin's team is extra scary considering Stanton has done squat for him and Dickey is due for a massive ship righting. Also, to a lesser degree, Hanley is still something.
TRM Verified Member Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 This is just to date using Yahoo League Stats. I'm not doing anything that takes me more than 5 min. There's only one Min.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2013 Author Posted May 29, 2013 Maybe we could somehow steer this thread back to Keith Law's list and resume the DDL discussion in the DDL thread.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 Elite offence > Elite pitching yep...I just wish my offense as good I hoped when drafting them (OF continue to kill me), cause this pitching staff has gone 34-18 so far this year: Josh Collmenter Anthony Swarzak Adam Wainwright Wade Miley Bud Norris Rafael Soriano Drew Storen Jake McGee Wesley Wright Cody Allen Tommy Milone Eric Stults Kyle Lohse Chad Billingsley Nathan Eovaldi JR Graham (Minors)
