Santos Verified Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Helped Brett Lawrie get Mark Derosa into maple leaf square yesterday to watch the Leaf game. Brett introduced me to Mark who then introduced me to a friend he was with who was no other then Pat Burrell. Saw that Burrell is a scout and assistant to the GM in San Fran. Perhaps checking out some Jays??? Who knows..just thought I'd pass that on
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 number one guy I figure they'd be here scouting would be Johnson of course that makes no sense at all. Maybe some Pen pieces. Chances are it's just advanced scouting for the series upcoming against the Giants.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Pretty sure AA is going to talk him out of his scouting job to suit up for your Toronto Blue Jays. Can he pitch an inning or so as well?

KSaw Verified Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 The free world is scouting Buehrle. He screams buy low and has stunk for the first 5 weeks since 2010 and then bounced back.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Jay, your good friends with Brett Lawrie?
vdartanian Verified Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Did you get to go out and tag team chicks later on with Pat, Mark and Brett? So this is what DeRosa was brought into teach Lawrie?
Hemingways007 Verified Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Where was Brett watching from? Was he in the square cheering? That would be so awesome. If anyone here is a Leafs fan I highly recommend going to the square. Tremendous energy, a lot of fun!
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted May 6, 2013 Posted May 6, 2013 Gibbers will be at Maple Leaf Square tonight wearing his Kadri jersey.
