I just read that the "Official King Kalfus Thread" was being closed by Gsnaris because he thought it wasn't "providing any value any more." The value is that it excited thousands of fans to follow the Blue Jays in the hope for a winning team (for the first time in over 2 Decades!). As mlbprospects said," king - so someone is closing the king kalfus thread? 47,000 viewers and a popular player really worried some blue jays moderators that their threads or favorite players weren't nearly as popular. the blue jays will lose thousands of fans. kal will make it to the mlb and this moderator can get joy in his spread of hate and spend time with his hater friends with his losing team. baseball is fun and kal is a promising young player who has done everything the right way - and his fans will always be there to support him. this toronto blue jays message board is for a moderator to control and dictate what they want said and control who they want saying it. maybe the moderator is from another continent where freedom doesn't exist!" The Oregon State product has been just as sharp in his first two outings of 2014, allowing no runs and one walk while earning a pair of victories in 12 innings. With help from the southpaw Boyd, Dunedin owns the top record in the FSL at 8-2.

I hope he becomes a great player as well as some of our other young players. Every single player drafted (with few exceptions) is a great athlete or else they would not have been drafted! Lets hope the force is strong with Maicer Izturis and he isn't out for the rest of the season needing surgery on his knee. He was hitting and fielding great for us and this is year 2 of his 3 year contract. Who in our system will replace him?

Maicer being out for the rest of the season probably won't make a huge difference. Replacing one replacement level player for another usually doesn't tip the scales one way or the other

I don't think its right to spread rumors about anyone, especially about fans that you probably don't even know. He is a popular player. I have been to sold-out Canadian games and saw with my own eyes. Have you? I also doubt that 3 people alone viewed this fan started thread over 47,000 times. Spreading rumors is simply wrong! I hope he becomes a great player as well as some of our other young players. Every single player drafted (with few exceptions) is a great athlete or else they would not have been drafted! I still miss reading about Brenden Kalfus from the 2013 draft class. We look to see him in Vancouver. It seems like most of the college players aren't well thought of by the blue jays (unlike the Cardinals organization who promomte and favor college athletes.

You didn't fix anything. You just made up things-again. You probably never went to college on a scholarship, never became an all-american, never graduated college with honors, never got drafted by an MLB team and probably never had much success. Our young players are filled with talent and some represent us both on and off the field. You can look up the facts or continue to throw stones at those who succeed far beyond what you and most people are capable of.

Good night for Norris, Sanchez, Graveman and Hendricks at AAA. Today, it's Nolin, Jenkins, McGuire, Boyd and Robson. If Boyd has another good start, they should promote him to AA. He's an older college draftee and has dominated since last year. I don't see why he should be kept at A-ball any longer, push him, I say.

I agree if he's dominating that much that it's clear he's not being challenged, it would open a spot to maybe allow another of the logjam of SS starters to jump to Lansing with a Lansing veteran up to Dunedin
