Laika Community Moderator Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 Pitcher tho. We barely have any data on Rodgers either. I would make that offer if I were zeros, Swanson is closer and he still has Giolito. Yeah it's actually a good fit. Zeros has the prospect depth to put two riskier profiles into one stud, and TCA kind of has a s***** farm so he should probably diversify and expand his assets. Maybe TCA kicks back some C+ DDL prospect. They should do it.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Here's a crazy thought... maybe just keep the best fantasy hitter (still in the minors) in baseball? But I feel like I need to trade everything. If I go more then a month without making a trade I get antsy.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 The price on Mazara is sky high. According to dynasty guru he's already more valuable one-for-one than Braun, Carrasco and Brantley. Easily take Mazara over Braun.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Oh man Giolito... Z3r0s we should talk more, how bout that Devers fella? I already tried... I think a Mazara for Giolito swap would be a excellent challenge trade...
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Easily take Mazara over Braun. It's easy to hate on Braun, but he just had a fantasy season that could very well be better than anything Mazara ever puts up.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I already tried... I think a Mazara for Giolito swap would be a excellent challenge trade... That would be a fair trade IMO, but once you get invested in an 80 ceiling prospect, it's hard to let go.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Everyone is low on Braun b/c he isn't what he could have been/was... but what he is, is still pretty solid.
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Everyone is low on Braun b/c he isn't what he could have been/was... but what he is, is still pretty solid. I think it's health more than performance. He has a dead thumb, chronic oblique issues, and just had back surgery. It's hard to see a graceful descent to his mid 30s.

Maybe TCA kicks back some C+ DDL prospect. They should do it. I wouldn't call my farm s*****. I kinda like it. A lot of risk though. Kyle Zimmer - #1/2 stuff if he can prove to stay healthy Tyler Stephenson - Ya, he's probably s*** Phil Bickford - 12.9 K/9 in the pros last year. Probably end up a late inning reliever though. Jose Peraza - MLB ready 2B, with 70 speed, I need a second baseman Touki Toussaint - reports say he has #1 stuff, been s*** so far though Hunter Harvey - #1/2 stuff, injury concerns though Michael Matuella - Was thought to go #1 overall at one point until he went for TJ surgery Joe Musgrove - His name sounds like he should have awesome sideburns, but he doesn't. Jorge Mateo - Yankee SS of the future Ke'Bryan Hayes - His dad played in the MLB? Daz Cameron - So did his Nomar Mazara - The love child of a unicorn and grizzly bear
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Damn, Glasnow + Rodgers is a strong offer. Are you high? Jesus Christ
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 All those guys suck dick except Mazara, and I don't mean that in the good way.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Are you high? Jesus Christ High on Nomar, yes!

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 Great argument about diversification imo. Dahl, Torres, G Sanchez sign on up these are bad fantasy prospects
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 How is Braun 32? I remember his rookie season... I was thinking the same thing about Papelbon the other day, it blows my mind that he's 35 already.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 All those guys are under valued except Mazara. ftfy

The rest of them are never-was-been prospects.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 High on Nomar, yes! No kidding. Ease up young man.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 TCA, you realize that zeros, at this moment, is constructing a list with arguments as to why all his prospects are awesome, right? I hope you're happy with what you've unleashed.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I was thinking the same thing about Papelbon the other day, it blows my mind that he's 35 already. When he and BJ Ryan were the top 2 closers that year. Makes me feel old.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I still think Harvey is decently valuable.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 IMO your farm is Mazara and Mateo. Harvey and Zimmer are has-been prospects. The rest of them are never-was-been prospects. I'll remember this 1 year from today.

I hope you're happy with what you've unleashed. I heard that Zeros has the best farm... Not sure who's all on it though. And that's not taking into account the ones he's called up onto his roster?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 No kidding. Ease up young man. You have your valuations, I have mine. I'm not going to put a lot of stock into Rodgers until I see some data (and he's at least 3 years away), and I'm not as high on Glasnow as others + inherent pitcher risk. Mazara is one of the few prospects that I would project as an elite bat. I think he's going to challenge for batting titles with a lot of 25-35 HR seasons, so I would give up pretty much anything to get him. I could be wrong and that's fine, but he's a guy I am willing to bet big on.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Also I'm pretty sure I'm older than you.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 11, 2016 Author Posted March 11, 2016 I'll remember this 1 year from today. Oh man, I bet you won't

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Also I'm pretty sure I'm older than you. You are but I was having trouble giving a condescending tone any other way since you're better at fantasy

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 Oh man, I bet you won't We'll see dear. Mostly will depend if I'm right or wrong...
