New improvements to the Yahoo! interface. It's now easier to toggle between your different team.

That tab was there before on the right side. They just moved it over to make room for the sweet MLB.com emblem.

Well I still consider it an improvement. My instinct is to take the mouse top left for navigation because in the browser that's there the forward and back buttons are.

I think it's messed. I'm used to it on the right. Did they actually make any other changes?

I don't like it either. Before the whole section with your team could be clicked. Now you have to click the actual words. So ANNOYING!

I was actually looking for that time Dinger said Rizzo was crap and came across when you acquired him. In retrospect, one of the many great moves you made in your ascent to the top, though you did pay quite a bit. Your end was panned by quite a few but it looks like you da winna.

How did we let Dinger build such a powerhouse? He's always wrong.

I know. I think a lot of it is my fault because I'm dumn but there are others to blame.

Dinger basically just got really lucky twice. Lucky drafting Buxton where he did, and then lucky in the early goings that someone was naive enough to trade him what he got for Buxton.

Take the Buxton things away and Dinger is just an overconfident guy who will give you a premium package for every productive 35 year old that you can drum up. Albert Pujols is the quintessential Oso Blanco.

I also got lucky landing Miggy in the initial draft and was well positioned to scoop Bumgarner in the 2nd round.

Where did Sale come from again?

Rizzo's peripherals haven't really changed from 2012-13. Decent walks, low strikeouts, has power, doesn't pop up; the signs of a great hitter. Luck and a bit of HR/FB are all that has improved. Rizzo's rise has been very gratifying. I targeted him in the draft and pestered CatsAss throughout the initial season.

Dinger is wrong a lot but it's mostly about guys that he's not acquiring or trading away. He puts a ton of stock in past performance and doesn't have time for prospects. So he'll miss out on opportunities to acquire breakouts and will occasionally trade away the wrong prospects, but those attributes in general are good to live by. Prospects usually are overvalued and players usually are who they have been.

Kinda seems like a sweeping generalization, considering I traded for Rodon and Swihart recently.

You traded other prospects for Rodon though, and Rodon was much closer to MLB than the guys you gave up (evidenced by his current existence in Chicago's rotation).

I kind of expect you to move Swihart before the deadline too tbh. But you make a good point; you're evolving as a manager and don't carry the same philosphies you did in 2013.

Man, Fister died :(

I'll move Clint Frazier for a starter.

GD "Aren't you a bit worried about Fister's arm?"

BTS "No"

Still don't think there were any red flags in the offseason.

I think you all are just seeing this through the lens of what I've done in DDL. If you were familiar with my FC team you'd know I can rebuild to the extreme. There's no reason for me to trade Swihart though as I need a catcher beyond this year (Gattis will be OF-only or possibly DFAed).

1) Wei Yin Chen is very underrated.

2) I REALLY want to stomp TCA this week.

Can confirm. Stomping TCA is a lot of fun

I don't; I'm probably going to win a championship this year or next.

This has been gone over before but the goal simply be to make the playoffs year in and year out. Once you get there it's so much of a crapshoot that anyone can win. It's my opinion that winning a Prime Ministers Trophy is far less glorious but equally if not more impressive than the actual title.

Disclaimer: I have one a PM Trophy but never a championship.

Fister spent 66 days out with an arm injury in 2014. Pretty big flag imo.
