I wouldn't leave the league, I just don't anticipate having the time going forward to promptly respond to things like rule disputes, or to help do things like process trades, transfer rosters, administer the drafts, etc.

 

It's a unique management position because the DDL is a unique league. Somehow it's a democracy with an autocrat. Have you ever wanted to rule 19 people with an iron fist through the internet with nothing at stake?

And in terms of whether decisions go to me or the Council of Commissioners - the decision of which forum is appropriate has been one I've made unilaterally in most instances.

 

Asking z3r0s to wear both hats might be a bit onerous. Maybe, now that I've written out the above, all I really need is a Vice President for the time being? Someone who can help me out or take over from me in the future, and maybe help z3r0s out a bit as well.

I know P2F is pretty new but I think he'd be a good fit for a role like that. He's also very good with helping out with administrative stuff.

When you put it that way, it does seems like a good role for BTS.

Goddamn, Mark Appel is terrible. I'd want to kill myself if I drafted him over Bryant.

Maybe I'm being reductive, but he just seems like a really hittable guy with at best average command and no devastating outpitch, judging by his underwhelming K rates. He's not even young with remaining projection, so yeah, I just don't see it. I'm not saying he's nothing, I just don't see him ever being an impact guy.

That one's super annoying because I still can't quite allow myself to believe that Pollock is a fantasy star, meanwhile I've ALWAYS hated Mark Appel.

I can't even pile on Appel any more, it's just sad at this point. He might not even be a major league pitcher when all is said and done.
