I think playoffs odds are higher, team has been top 8 in PFs the last few years, that's without this offseason adds of Goldy (durable) and Donaldson (not so durable).

Really don't know. I think Fantrax considers every offseason transaction to take place for the first day of the season, so it probably doesn't matter whether the drops are made on the morning of March 1st or the last day of February, but I would advise everyone to clear room on February 28th just to be safe.

I have a question about the draft. I kind of expect we are able to drop players during the draft, but just in case. If we have a player come off the DL during the draft and are unable to drop a player to facilitate their DL to BN move so we can add prospects drafted to fill our minors slots will we be allowed to get a commish to perform the drop?

I don't love the idea of renting Morton for what probably amounts to one year, but I felt I needed a third reliable arm behind Bauer and DeGrom. I think I probably undervalued Ramos because I acquired him with the intent of moving him, and never really formed any kind of attachment to him as an asset.

 

The Brantley saga ends up being Brantley for Morton, Detmers, and a 2022 2nd. Seems more or less fair when you look at it like that.

Yeah that’s my read too. I can’t find any trade that got me 4-10.
