Technically would have had to promote Handsome at our cut deadline as extra picks were supposed to be eliminated then. This was our last draft under our old rules with a cut deadline. In all future new player drafts you can just promote or cut when your picks come up, I think. That's how the LoD does it and it works a bit better from an administrative perspective.

That's a deep staff. My needs are that I don't plan on competing this year so the younger the better. Room on the farm is tight, so I'm open to including prospects on my end too.

MLB season starts on a Thursday. Have our first week be 4 days long or merge it with week 2? Having a short week 1 would let us have one more matchup in an already short season.

Here is what we are going with for the schedule, unless there are strong objections:

 

- First week will be short (4 days) rather than merge it into an 11 day week. This lets us add one more matchup.

- There will only be 4 playoff teams. This lets us add one regular season matchup.

- The schedule is just randomized with no divisional bias.

- Top 4 teams in total standings make the playoffs.

- It will be an 8 week regular season then with 2 weeks of playoffs.

 

This means that the divisions are essentially irrelevant this year, even though we will still have them (just so I don't have to re-enter them in 2021). Winning your division does not guarantee a playoff spot.

Also, we are adding 2 IL slots for 2020 in light of expected Covid cases.

Damn, you're right. I saw Leake had a red flag and assumed it was because he opted out, but it's leftover from when he was hurt in ST.
