Yes, the waiver picks can be done manually? I put that as an option so you can check it, holy f*** it takes a few seconds, man. We could've done the LOD rule 4 on it also, just trying to help, the rest of you can eat dicks.

 

Also, we should push back the drafts in all leagues, saves you guys all the Admin s***. Again, just trying to help.

I don't see why we can't use the draft room for the waiver draft, then input the MILB picks afterward. I'd volunteer to do it, but apparently I'm the bad guy. Although being able to do that would be great.

I'd suggest you create your own experimental league where you can play around with settings. You can even create one that automatically uses the settings chosen in one of the other leagues. It's really dangerous to poke around in a live league.

Just go to Fantrax and create a league. As part of the process, it gives you the option.

Neat idea but I don't want to pursue it right now. Doing the waiver draft stuff manually is not a big deal; picks don't get traded that often and we have all the time in the world in February. I think people like having the prospect draft in the summer, it's kind of nice to have it in the context of the real life draft.

it looks like the 2021 picks that had already been dealt are still recorded?

 

the 2020 picks are just in the standings + lottery order. we will have to pick through and fix for all the trades that have happened. Not that much work since it's all on the spreadsheet, less any trades that happened since Fantrax but those would be in our emails and or the transaction history.

Well, they say they're in the midst of upgrading the feature to be used mid-season, hopefully soon. It worked like a gem last night when I created a dummy league. If you're OTC soon, you can step out and leave names in your queue to pick your selection for you, without leaving a list with someone. bunch of neat stuff like that, where commissioners needn't worry, I had it set for 12 hour clocks and it works, also.

I haven't found a better way of restoring pick order than doing it manually like you're suggesting.

 

In LoD and BORED I periodically save the pick order at Other -> Draft Picks in case this happens.

I know we started using the regular season rankings for the draft after Boxy benched his team in his only playoff appearance ever. Kind of makes sense that the actual champion gets 20th though.

Rule 4.3 - Rule 5 Draft order will be determined by the standings of the previous season with a weighted lottery on the Top 5 picks (to help prevent intentional tanking). All other teams pick in order of their final regular season standing, with the exception of the playoff champion who picks 20th (last).
