Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Under normal circumstances I would have moved into the playoff group after the performance this week, but f*** the havok steamroller.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Monte Cristo teams sitting 2,3,4 in the league right now.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Under normal circumstances I would have moved into the playoff group after the performance this week, but f*** the havok steamroller. With you there. Pretty sure I set personal bests for offensive rate stats and I got rekt. The nature of the H2ah beast. Sometimes you just run into a performance that is basically unbeatable. Sucks, but then youll win weeks while your team sucks s***.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 I am not interested in your games, what is this He's putting Urshela (player against another good player, Jose Altuve. Just ignore that 60 point gap in BABIP.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 He's putting Urshela (player against another good player, Jose Altuve. Just ignore that 60 point gap in BABIP. Good hitters have high BABIPs. If you were meant to ignore it, I wouldn’t have included it.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Good hitters have high BABIPs. If you were meant to ignore it, I wouldn’t have included it. Yeah him having a higher BABIP than Trout, Bellinger by 60 points each, Yelich, Bregman, Rendon, Michael Brantley, etc. is totally normal and sustainable. Higher BABIP than Mike Trout, Joey Votto and Paul Goldschmidt in their careers, Jose Altuve's peak years, etc. Oh right, but I'm not accounting for Urshela's blazing speed, coming in at *checks notes* 44th percentile in sprint speed. Yup.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Gio Urshela had a higher or even remotely close BABIP to this season in his minors career once, in 150 PAs in 2018.

Yup. You're in the 44th percentile of brain power.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 You're in the 44th percentile of brain power. Nice, the classic "no u" response. Very creative as usual with your insults.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 So what I’m getting from this is that orgfiller agrees Urshela is the new Jose Ramirez.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Probability of Dinger selling Urshela in BORED this offseason: 100%.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 So what I’m getting from this is that orgfiller agrees Urshela is the new Jose Ramirez. Yes, whom he also has a higher BABIP than.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Probability of Dinger selling Urshela in BORED this offseason: 100%. Obviously.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Yes, whom he also has a higher BABIP than. That’s cause Ramirez turned into an extreme fly ball home run yanker like Joey Bats.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 He’ll be on my trade block but I put the probability at like 45%.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 He’ll be on my trade block but I put the probability at like 45%. Of all the fake posturing that has been done in this thread, this posturing is the fakest.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Of all the fake posturing that has been done in this thread, this posturing is the fakest. In order for me to sell high, I’ll need an offer worth my while. I’ll more like trade Andujar.
Laika Community Moderator Posted August 19, 2019 Author Posted August 19, 2019 Let's not lose sight of the crux of all of this: German Marquez is not a fantasy Ace because this is not an xFIP league and Vidal Brujan is an easy top 20 prospect in baseball who could very well be a consistent 20/40 MIF. Gio Urshela is just a really good dude and I'm happy for him this year
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Domingo German is a Top 15 SP in this format so far this year.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Domingo German is a Top 15 SP in this format so far this year. Another offseason sell candidate? He's been playing with fire this year. 4th highest HR rate. The 3 names above him are J.A. Happ, Yusei Kikuchi, and Mike Leake. The 3 below him are Chris Archer, Dylan Bundy, and Anthony DeSclafani.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 I’m in no position to be selling starting pitching.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Yeesh, tough matchup for me this week. Not only is BB 1st in the PRs by a substantial margin (15 compared to 2nd place @ 10.7), but it’s an incredibly balanced team and lethal in both phases (7.6 BAT + 7.5 PIT). Heavy favourite to repeat as DDL champ IMO.
