Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 p2f wins the draft That's who I was trying to trade up for with FTD...
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 p2f wins the draft Meh. He’s probably going to have to be rostered through next year’s cut before reaching the majors. Possibly also the cut after that.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Meh. He’s probably going to have to be rostered through next year’s cut before reaching the majors. Possibly also the cut after that. I'm sure it won't be hard to find names that are more preferable to cut. My only issue would be investing that time in a pitching prospect. Then again, he's no Joe Blanton so I can definitely understand your indifference.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Yeah he barely reached AA as is (props to P2F for noticing). It's a great find but having a good prospect in the MLB before they have to be is really annoying come cuts time.

TRM Verified Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Anyone have any interesting beer recommendations. I am heading over to the LCBO and wanna grab something new.

They have a taster display out this weekend on a new IPA beer, forgot the name but was tasty, just ask them when you get there if it's not on display.
TRM Verified Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 I'll drink lagers, ales, sours, wheat, some stouts. Basically anything but IPAs, but I will drink sour IPAs.
TRM Verified Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 I've been drinking tons of Sours recently, I do like fruity beers too. Raspberry wheats, blueberry ales, etc.

I love wheat beers and it's far and away my favourite, just insanely tasty, citrusy, slightly spiced. f*** now I'm going to the LCBO too.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 They had several options. Sounds like you got this, though. Ugh, I don't know how people can enjoy IPAs. The bitterness is so overwhelming.

P2F Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Ugh, I don't know how people can enjoy IPAs. The bitterness is so overwhelming. It's usually the people that like bold flavours like scotch and dark roast coffee--people like myself. I love IPAs.

tafkasg Verified Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 My favourite straight drinking beer is Lowenbrau. German style, dry, simple, cheap. Also, I'm interested in trading in for a pick here.
TRM Verified Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 Ugh, I don't know how people can enjoy IPAs. The bitterness is so overwhelming. I feel the same way. I don't like them almost exclusively. I only scooped one IPA on my trip just now. With that said, get a load of this loot I just grabbed gents.....
TRM Verified Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 6x Left Field Go-Ahead (Raspberry & Hibiscus Gose) 2x Left Field Laser Show (Double IPA - I've heard it's amazing so figured I'd give it a try) 6x Muskoka Black Raspberry Thunder (Milkshake IPA made in conjunction with Kawartha Dairy) 2x Side Launch Dry Hopped Sour 2x Muskoka Ebb&Flow (Session Sour) 4x Side Launch Mountain Lager 2x Beau's Tom Green Cherry Milk Stout (600 mL bottle) 4x Nickel Brook Uber (Raspberry Sour - 500 mL bottle)
tafkasg Verified Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 I'd try the f*** out of it, but the term milkshake IPA makes me just the slightest bit queasy.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted March 4, 2019 Posted March 4, 2019 I have never seen a LCBO open later than 6pm on a Sunday. But I will defer to Spanky on this one

I wonder how much it would cost to ship here from Toronto.
