I'd be curious what kind of return I could get for deGrom. I'd place the odds of trading him at maybe 30%, but I'd like to get a feel for potential returns as it may affect who else I'm willing to trade or the types of returns I'd be looking for.

Chris Davis for Rougned Odor turned out to be the rare trade where both players became the worst at their positions. Talk about a lose-lose.

 

Odor heard this. Since this post he's batted .311/.394/.556. The highest .OPS of any 2B over that span. Thank you.

Oh yeah? Well Chris Davis also went on a tear in the same timeframe, a scorching .167/.259/.413 with 9 HR.

Yeah, it's pretty crazy. His horrendous start had him looking like a DFA candidate, but since he got benched for partying he's been scorching hot and is now at 110 wRC+ for the season somehow.

Maybe he got his s*** together? I remember talk of them potentially sending him to the minors too. Still only 24, also walking at a better clip.
