I thought we had made a decision of Ohtani. He is two players (nothing we can do about that even if we wanted to) but you only need to use one keeper slot on him. If this hasn't been decided, lets get this figured.

During the conversation around Ohtani, NJH said something like "Hurl's free spot gravy train with Ohtani and Maitan needs to end, good thing Maitan is a non asset now". I am good with any decision I just want time to think about moves. I have a stacked 10 person farm right now so finding a spot for him is not an issue...but it would make me want to trade my draft picks.

For the Maitan and Ohtani compensation we said that they "don't count against the prospect limit until they play organized baseball" so Maitan is a normal prospect now.

 

And z3r0s is right about Ohtani. He's just two separate players, divisible if you want. But you (or anyone) needs to own them both in order to use the Ohtani Superpower whereby he only counts as 1 keeper.

You actually do have waiver 25 already from the deal, but funny enough I don't have waiver 50.

 

I think I remember passive-aggressively clicking all over waiver 50 when someone with spreadsheet access was lurking to draw attention to it but then I forgot all about it.

Guaranteed someone changed it because at the time of my post torontofan had both waivers 25 and 50. Maybe when he made his post he didn't have 25.
