Reading Apparition Scott Kingery with 2 HR last night for Lehigh Valley. I can't give this guy away though, even though he's profiling like a young Ian Kinsler. I'll be very interested to see where he lands on midseason lists.

For 75% of these fantasy guys, they don't recognize prospects until someone puts them on a list.

I had a guy in another league tell me I had no good pitching prospects.

I'd say it has more to do with Kingery being jammed in Dinger's NA slot and most potential trade partners already have their big clubs loaded with prospects promoted early, but hey any opportunity to look down your nose at people right?

Yup. I think there`s more value in having MLB roster spots available for prospecting on MLB breakout talent than in having them tied up on borderline top-50 prospects with NA status. Kingery would be a True Cardinal now if he were farm eligible.

Yeah that's off the table now that I have Kimbrel. I did give it a lot of consideration, however that player is someone I really didn't want to part with. You admittedly offered better value than P2F, but with him I was able to do a deal without giving up that guy.

Makes sense. I think I'll probably just keep him. I might be overly optimistic, but I think I can make the jump to contender for back-end playoff spot next year if I can find a couple of starters in the offseason.
