Laika Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2017 Author Posted April 21, 2017 Anyone have a spare 3B? I have an idea
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 So tempted to bench my pitchers for the week and take the k/bb record (and likely keep it forever)
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 So tempted to bench my pitchers for the week and take the k/bb record (and likely keep it forever) May as well do it so that your time in the DDL isn't completely forgettable.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 With this new bunt shift the Cubs do sometimes does Rizzo end up with 2B eligibility by the end of the year?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Holy s***... Bumgarner out 2 months after a dirtbike accident. What a f***ing idiot lol. TRM can feel a bit better about Marte now.

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 I'm also losing 4-10 to Dinger. Time to start the yearly firesale
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Pick 83 is also going to balco in the deal
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2017 Author Posted April 22, 2017 Michael Piñata is great, but JT is clearly the superior asset. Woo.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 lol GD. North should have been more discerning with his replacement.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 wowwwwwwwwwwww The end of an era
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 22, 2017 Author Posted April 22, 2017 The end of an era There's only enough room for one Albert Pujols on a team
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 I randomly have 5 Detroit hitters on my team
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Joe Jimenez, Koda Glover, and Jacob Barnes are on the block if someone wants to speculate on closers-in-waiting. I'll do two for a SP.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 At what week in the season will BALCO have more wins than your team's entire history? Too lazy to check I don't know but you won't be able to take credit for it. Also, a shoutout to SG for inspiring me to pick up Chase Anderson. Comfortably a top 100 player now!
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 The end of an era So how many people have players from the original draft (not prospect draft)? Off hand I can only think of Trout, Machado and Goldy. My last original was Eovaldi who I had right up until the waiver cut this year.

My last original was Eovaldi who I had right up until the waiver cut this year. I went looking at the initial draft and mine is just a comedy of errors. I was in a s***** spot at pick 20, but my lack of dynasty experience showed. My picks; Justin Upton, Jose Reyes, Pablo Sandoval, Dylan Bundy (ouch), James Shields, Josh Johnson (ouch), Brian McCann, Matt Garza, Emilio Bonifacio, Lorenzo Cain (yeah a good one, too bad I dropped him pre-breakout!), Dan Straily, Michael Morse, John Axford, Serigo Santos, Jon Broxton, Ryan Cook, Ricky Romero, Dom Brown, Cody Ross, Mitch Moreland, Tony Cingrani, Tyler Thornburg, Tyler Moore, Derek Norris, Jeremy Affeldt Not only do I not own ANY of those guys, the VAST majority shouldn't be owned by anyone at this point. Oh well, at least my minor league draft looks decent (although I don't own many of them anymore)

TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Third round of our draft was a few huge wins and a lot of big misses (those last 6 picks which I can proudly say I'm part of). Adam Jones was panned at the time and he's the third best hitter to go in the round. Matt Moore, Gio González, Adam Jones, Aroldis Chapman, Yu Darvish, Matt Holliday, Zack Greinke, Cliff Lee, Paul Goldschmidt, Chase Headley, Chris Sale, Ben Zobrist, Manny Machado, Jurickson Profar, Jered Weaver, Joe Mauer, Billy Butler, Elvis Andrus, B.J. Upton, Pablo Sandoval
