Yeah man, it's f***ing awful. I'm an ******* for making this about myself, but I dunno if I wan't to continue on in FC with Fernandez. I drafted him, owned him through all the ups and downs, TJS, a championship. I built my whole team around him, and I don't see a future for it without him.

 

I hear ya... I doubt they'd compensate for the loss of JF, or maybe they will. I thought you were out the door anyhow, or am I getting you and GD mixed up. By the way, good luck in the finals.

Yeah I was, but then I agreed to stay on one more year because I didn't want to walk away from my Goldy/JF core. Now it's been gutted, and maybe it's just best to walk away and throw it into a multi term dispersal draft. Thanks for the luck, JF pitched me into the finals with his incredible finale.

s***, and no more Papi, either. Yeah that start was boss, I was expecting another one for me on Sunday night to advance in LoD, and we know how that turned out. Can't believe he's gone, so sad and tragic. Geez, that's a massive hit in that league.

Silvergun - King (A true champ, will rule for the forseeable future. Very rarely seen by the common folk)

 

BTS - Queen (Queen B, also Silverguns bitch. Not actually important but inserts himself into the conversations of those actually in charge unannounced and uninvited)

 

Dr. Dinger - Prince (Long seen as the heirto the throne, but hasn't ever put it all together. Still, strong genes, one day will likely rule)

 

North - Princess(Has a crown, but generally unliked and called a little bitch by most. Also young)

 

NJH - High Priest (Makes all the rules, has a lot of say and power. Ultimately everyone defers to him, but the basis of his power is sketchy, despite being recognized. Was more important at the beginning of time)

 

TCA - Court Jester (Entertainment for the royals. Often drunk.)

 

FeatherD - Kings Dead Old Father (Once was the king. Will likely never be king again. Important for the history of the kingdom. May or may not be dead.)

 

GD - Knight (Sleeping with the Princess. Does her bidding.)

 

Hurl- Senile Advisor to Royals(Once was semi-relevant and had good ideas. Hasn't done anything of note in many years, yet still is invited to sit at the big boys table and share his opinions. May or may not have a hemorrhoid)

 

Boxy - Girl At Brothel(Town bike. Anyone can and has had a ride)

 

Spanky - Village Drunk (Crippled by a thatching accident in his youth, the village drunk finds meaning in the bottle and stumbles around the muddy side streets, late at night, speaking foul in his own special language)

 

Jaysblue - The Duke of some other region (Seldom heard from these days, the Duke isn't necessarily loved but is respected)

 

torontofan and jays_fever - Peasant forest-dwelling brothers who exist unbeknownst to anyone in town.

 

z3r0s - Priest and Church Archivist (records all known history of the church and maintains the holy archives. Also constantly brags about his stable of young boys)

 

KingKat - The Monk (He spends his time tending to the scrolls and tomes of the library. A pacifist; not competitive by nature).

 

Sammy and Havok - The Fletcher and the Blacksmith (nondescript roles, but every town needs them to function properly)

 

TRM - King's bastard (constantly trying to prove that he is worthy of his royal blood but always falling short. Basically a giant disappointment. Once even tried to adopt a similar name as the Prince for bonus points, but his stepmother mockingly overruled him by naming him "brryant.")

 

Speedygose - Royal Squire (Puts on a kind and generous face for the court, but secretly plots the day he will attempt to overthrow them all. Also particularly disgusted by the town drunk.)

 

 

AdamGreenwood - Barbarian King (Surprisingly cunning and devious for a primitive being, he has conquered many lands and refuses to remain satisfied. Most recently, handed a large defeat to the Prince's army which caused his father to shut himself in the throne room for the rest of his life, ruling whilst removed from the people. Greenwood now plots outside the city walls, waiting for the right moment to strike while attempting to misinform and misdirect the majority of the kingdom in hopes that some will turn to his side.)

 

GP - Brothel Owner (Acquires a ton of extremely young assets and then promptly gets rid of them when they are older than 21)

I view starting this as my greatest contribution to this league, and also a leading factor in convincing you to return to the board.

If someone wants to generate the draft list (do the lottery as well as confirm how the playoff results translate to draft order), I will convert all the picks on the spreadsheet to the firm numbers. I'll wait a bit to actually generate the draft sheet as I'm sure lots of trades will happen.

I like that idea. Yes it is a lot of compensation, but warranted IMO.

I'm thinking we give him two prospects. One of them has to be currently owned by an MLB team, but the other can be any baseball player in the world (Otani, Gurriel, Thames, Mo'Ne Davis, GD).

 

He can pick two owned prospects if he wants.

 

The crowd would probably pick Otani and Maitan, but I can see arguments for choosing different names. What if Otani doesn't get posted for three years? There's risk there, so it makes sense to let Hurley choose.

 

The two prospect won't immediately take up any prospect space. The signed prospect will start taking up a spot on his 12 man MiLB roster as of our draft in June 2017.

If he picks an unsigned player, they won't take up a prospect spot until one week after they officially sign with an MLB team.
