Picking up Headley reminded me of the initial draft, when I had Goldy all queued up at #50 and STUPID Iso Horny (Torontofan's team, you don't pass up the opportunity to reference that name) snagged him at 49.

 

Flustered, I had been heavily considering Machado as plan B (GP @ 53) but instead decided to go for the surer bet in Chase Headley, coming off that goddamn career year.

 

Luckily I made up for it by grabbing Donaldson 2 weeks into the season! But then Headley was back from injury, and no need for 2 3Bs.

 

That was...unfortunate.

 

Since Boxy will assure me literally nobody cares, I'll make this a useful post and mention I'm in the market for a cheap bat, decrepit is fine.

.387 BABIP and 19% HR/FB are definitely sustainable. As a Jays fan, I'm enjoying the ride, but I don't know which hits first between a serious injury and run-of-the-mill RTTM.

If plebs are going to brag about being a thorn in Silvergun's side, I've probably caused him the most grief. Took the division (and his playoff spot) in year 1, and ousted him from the playoffs in year 2.
