The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Is there a place you can see velocities for pitches in ST?

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Planning on trying to peddle some Fister Mr. Ass? Was just curious. Seems like it's back up to 2013/14 velocity
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Which type of baseball dork are you? http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/what-type-of-baseball-dork-are-you/ I'd have to say pitching.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I regret not watching more baseball when Pedro and Randy were pitching, pure filth. We were born in the wrong time. I remember watching Randy when he helped the D-backs win the WS.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Yeah I'd have to say I'm a pitching dork too.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Can I be a GMing dork? yeah front office dork. Although my two recent trades (second to follow shortly) show that I don't practice what I preach. While I feel like I have a plan...I hate my second deal.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Trade announcement; To Hurl; Add Russell, Tyler Jay, (MiLB #28 or Waiver 2 (ZRO), decided by Hurl right before the MiLB Draft) To z3r0s; Julio Urias, Aybar, (MiLB #10 or Waiver 1 (TH) decided by Hurl right before the MiLB Draft) contingent pieces are either both MiLB or both Waiver picks.

Confirmed. for the purpose of administering the trade. Move #10 to z3r0s #28 to me. He can't move his #2 waiver or #10 draft pick without asking me first. But that is on the honour system between him and I. Yes I already have a draft target.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 Hurl, should I process the MLB or Waiver picks right now? I'd like to get at least one processed, that we can reverse at your discretion right before the draft.

Read above.
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I have to agree with SG. I think Russ has a huge ceiling and the lineup he'll be hitting in is top class. I don't think you'll regret it. If you wanted one of my prospect SS's it would have made me happy, but I had to cash in on some of this depth.

Now I have to hope that I find a good pitcher to join my big 2 (or have Bradley step up). Tyler Jay reaches the majors this year IMO. It will be interesting to see if your complete Cubs'esk rebuild works as well in fantasy as it did IRL
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 12, 2016 Author Posted March 12, 2016 Yeah Russell is well-rounded but not special
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 This sounds like a job for undercutter's pizza, let's talk sir. Silvergun: slimeball dork
z3r0s Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I seem to be higher on Russell than many on here. Power is real, speed is solid. As long as he tightens up the contact a bit I think he's a beast.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 I love the Urias side. Cyborg: pitching dork
