unfortunate part is there seems to be a few people going away and all at different times for extended periods

Yeah, I mean all you can do is put your cards on the table. With 20 people, there's no way it will work perfectly for everyone.

You guys should be more like me and never go or do anything interesting. You'll never run into these problems.

If I were on vacation, I wouldn't spare even a moment for fantasy baseball, or for anything else besides vacation-y things, for that matter.

I would hope everyone else would do the same.

Why? Vacation is for having fun. I have fun doing fantasy baseball. You can't drink or be on a beach for every single second of a vacation, there is always downtime. In fact one year I set up DDL rosters while hungover in London. I've made trades from Copenhagen and Sydney. If you don't want to pay attention to your fantasy league while traveling, that's your prerogative, but the league doesn't pause for anybody. Yahoo opens the same time every year and the waiver draft will begin the same time every year.

Do you remember what week it usually opens? Is it typically before or after the Valentines day? I can't recall

Let's make the cutdown deadline Feb 11th at midnight, and then we will start the waiver draft on Feb 18th.

If Yahoo isn't open on the 18th, we will start the draft as soon as Yahoo opens and the rosters get inputted.

Any objections?

An 11th cutdown date should let people who are going away pre-rank and share a list with someone, if they need to.

Actually, maybe we should do it even earlier.

The last two years it actually opened before February. If I had to guess I'd say either Jan 28/29 or Feb 1.

With that in mind, everybody is free to start cutting guys whenever they like.

In fact, I'm going to get the ball rolling and cut Cody Anderson.

To people cutting relief pitchers, I'll move MiLB pick #65 for the best RP that is offered up.

Sheet says you don't even own that pick.

Are you not trading Rendon anymore in the other league?

I'll cut Koji and pad my chances in the waiver draft before taking a worthless 4th round pick in a league where all our farms are basically full already. In fact I think I might need to cut someone from my farm, and mine isn't even particularly good.

Sheet needs to be updated. I got the pick in a trade last week.

TCA Receives: 65th MILB pick

GRF Reveives: Matt Moore+ 95th MILB pick

And I'm on the fence on what to do with Rendon. I've been trying to think about what to actually do with him.

That's cuz you rely on BP too much

Nah, I was just being modest. I actually have a pretty good farm now. One Top 10 prospect, 2 more Top 50 prospects, 2 more Top 100 prospects. Come to think of it, it's probably better than yours.

Feel free to measure dicks, tho. Outside Crawford, I wouldn't trade Benintendi for your entire farm.

Compare your farms to mine and...... nah... its just getting sad that's all I have worth talking about in my org :P
