According to steamer I should have taken BTS' offer instead. I just hate Trumbo so much though.

#44 Jose Reyes

Dee Gordon

Robinson Cano

Shin-Soo Choo

Joc Pederson

Jacoby Ellsbury

Gregory Polanco

Anthony Rendon

#65 Alex Gordon

I likely would have parted with Choo in the deal we talked about if I knew the severity of any potential suspension. Who knows when that would be, and how long it would be though? I understand that it's too hard to wait when you have other offers on the table.

1000% percent. I've been thinking I'll rebrand when I think I'm ready to be less s***** (maybe next year).

Should I change the name to 'Vote for Pedro, Alvarez'?

"Vote for Pedro (Alvarez)" would be slightly better formatting

Inseparable Bias would be better though. Confronting the problem honestly.

I completely understand your position. I prefer Choo to Gordon but not by a whole lot, so I'd rather take the deal in hand.

I probably won't even have a shortstop for the first couple of months unless the Phillies start the year with Crawford... which, now that I say it, sounds very plausible.

I probably have one clanking around, though I honestly don't remember.

Eh, I mean if anything I'll just take Andrus in the waiver draft, although TBH I think I'm better off just leaving that spot blank. I don't really want to stash one through the cutdown since I don't have to.

There are worse options than Andrus out there. He's good for a lot of counting stats. I'm actually torn on if I should keep him or not.

He'll get you H, R, RBIs, SB. Albeit while destroying slg%

That 0.330-0.350 SLG is brutal though. That's like 70 points less than you want to be as a team.

My point is he's replacement level. I can get as much or more utility out of an extra holds guy or backend SP.

Oh ya, I know it is. And only reason he's good at those counting stats is because he starts pretty much every single game. That's why I'm thinking about running with Eugenio Suarez. I think he has a chance to put up similar number to Brandon Crawford.

I have Andrus as hitter #331 on my spreadsheet (not positionally adjusted though).

You guys should all be praising Andrus after how he helped the Bluejays.

Considering only 500-600 players are owned in this league, and about half are pitchers, I'm going to go ahead and say that's below replacement level. Certainly not a Top 400 player (ie a keeper).

I might be looking to move some moderately interesting prospects/picks for a mid-rotation SP. Guys like Carson Fulmer, Frankie Montas, Jack Flaherty, Jorge Alfaro, James Kaprelian, Chris Shaw. I could bundle.

I don't even know what Montas is, TBH. Now is a great time to take advantage of me if you think he can stick as a starter with 100 MPH heat. I would trade him for a crusty old warhose like John Lackey.

I'd laugh if someone offered me that for Lackey. Lackey is a beaut

Anyway GD laughed too. He said the ask for Lackey starts with Rodon + Crawford and goes up from there.

Really? He offered me Lackey for Jesse Hahn last week.

Jesse Hahn SUXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. Didn't you trade Kershaw for him or something?

God, I hope not.

No, I think I got him for some kind of draft pick or Matt Barnes at the cutdown one year.
