I guess no one noticed but Torontofan and I made a deal.

I get:

Mike Moustakas

Drew Hutchison

He gets:

Josh Reddick

Amed Rosario (milb)

I don't have a computer right now and doing it on my phone is a bitch, would one of the lovely Darrells please process this for me?

Have discussed with a few teams this offseason the possibility of moving Wade Davis for a top-25 type of prospect. If this interests you, let me know.

Betances also still on the table, but nothing has been close yet. Very good under-30 3B or OF or blue chip prospect still the asking price.

[TORONTO, ON] After sending one PM, A 2nd Leg to Stanton has named King its co-manager. The appointment is effective as soon as Min gets around to looking at this league again. King will not have roster management permission, and will not negotiate with other franchises. what kind of **** even tries to pretend that we negotiate with "prospective draft picks", North. Basically all he is gonna do is help the franchise manage s*** when the President goes AWOL for months at a time. Also basically run the MiLB draft. Said President of A 2nd Leg to Stanton, Min, has a personal message for the fanbase: "According to Greenwood, we don't stand a chance with myself alone at the helm. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction. Also, go f*** yourself North."

This is King's second brush with Darrell Dynasty League fame. Previously, he worked as a substitute manager for division rival Twist and Trout, when FtD left the country. King declined to comment. King also competes in the League of Despair and Breaking Blue Dynasty League, but his success in those is irrelevant because those league are inferior and blow chunks.

REFSNYDER UPDATE FROM BP!!!

http://www.baseballprospectus.com/card/images/headshot_100317.jpg6. Rob Refsnyder, 2B

DOB: 03/26/1991

Height/Weight: 6’1” 205 lbs.

Bats/Throws: R/R

Drafted/Acquired: Drafted in the fifth round of the 2012 draft, University of Arizona; signed for $205,900

Previous Ranking(s): 2015: #6 (Org)

2015 Stats: .271/.359/.402; 9 HR, 12 SB for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre .302/.348/.512; 2 HR, 2 SB for the New York Yankees

Key Tools: 55 hit

Role: 45—Good utility player

The longer you write about prospects, the more you come to appreciate a player like Refsnyder. There isn't a single interesting athletic tool here, and it is easy to scoff at his defense, but Refsnyder is a baseball player who rewards multiple looks with a lovely line-drive swing that eventually convinces you he can hit major-league pitching. He's also flashed double-digit power in the minors, and might be able to yank 10 home runs over the left field fence in the majors with a full season of at-bats.

Yet it's tough to see a way for him to get those at-bats in the Bronx. The arm restricts him to second base, and he's further limited there by somewhat mechanical actions. The Yankees went out and traded for Starlin Castro for a reason, after all. A second-division team needing to fill a hole at second base could do far worse than Refsnyder, but he is best suited for a superutility role, playing second base and some corner outfield. On the plus side, he is ready to fill that role right now.

Fantasy Impact: Without a defined role, the best attribute Refsnyder might bring to a fantasy team in the near future is some positional flexibility. His offensive profile is solid in that role, as he can be a strong contributor in average and throw in some counting stats if the playing time is there. He's unlikely to be relevant in leagues shallower than 14 teams, but a very good player to have around in deep mixed and AL-only formats.

Major league ETA: Debuted in 2015

Refsnyder is a baseball player

Thank god for BP

So basically, the Yankees played a guy who Ref pretty much matched in value after 16 appearances (Drew) and now they have traded for a guy who might be worse.

But ya, the Yankees know what they're doing. No question about it.

Well BA had him 2 spots lower than BP (would also like to point out that they put the Judge below Gary Sanchez too. The chat ripped Judge but still said they expect him to be in the top 100

I know Dinger posts this BP trash just to rustle my jimmies.

I have no idea why anyone would pay for a BP or BA subscription. Beyond useless.

Rustle your jimmies? I thought this report would buoy your spirits.

The best thing about BP was the detailed injury histories, but they don't even do that anymore. Someone could carve out a niche with a site that tracks that for the uber-nerd fantasy baseball crowd.

I don't see any reason why Ref can't be a league average regular. Everything he's done has shown that this is a very plausible outcome for him.

Also, reading a baseball scouting report on a guy who plays baseball on a baseball team that calls him a "baseball player" makes me want to punch things. BP's opinions on Ref mean absolutely nothing.

How the Yankees have handled him tells us everything we need to know about his defensive abilities (or lack thereof)
