Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 lol classic BTS move Trumbo, Jerko, and Gattis could all hit 20-30 HR with OBPs comfortably below .300 Although really, I'm pretty sure most people would gladly take that from their SS.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Still looking to move Koji, Herrera, CLOSER Brad Ziegler, and Dickey for prospects.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Sucks that Uehara is a setup man. A likely 1-year setup man rental is a tough sell pre-cut.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 The ratios are still elite. If my asking price doesn't get met, I'll gladly put him in the draft for a chance to get him back.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 The ratios are still elite. If my asking price doesn't get met, I'll gladly put him in the draft for a chance to get him back. He definitely wouldn't get past 11.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 He definitely wouldn't get past 11. I could sell those 3 relievers for minimal returns, such as draft pick upgrades, but if I dump all three into the waiver draft, odds are pretty good I can get one back.

Yeah or you could just trade them all for minimal draft pick upgrades and then pick someone who is essentially the same. I mean you yourself got Ziegler and Familia in last year's...

His team is built to contend now, and his only keeper reliever is Vizcaino, who is probably a bottom-5 closer.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I'm looking to get a good RP, doesn't matter if it's closer or setup. Not willing to pay an outrageous asking price, unless they're a top tier closer in their prime. If you're gonna cut someone it's better to get something rather then nothing, so come see me.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I heard you can get Uehara for a top 50 prospect. You don't have any of those.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Yeah or you could just trade them all for minimal draft pick upgrades and then pick someone who is essentially the same. I mean you yourself got Ziegler and Familia in last year's... I probably shouldn't bank on snagging two closers in the draft again, that seems unlikely. Either way though, my pen should be solid. I would rather dump an RP into the waiver draft where he becomes a free-for-all rather than give a sweetheart deal to a potential opponent.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Can someone explain how catsass has an awful farm even though he just torn down a borderline top-5 roster last year?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Can someone explain how catsass has an awful farm even though he just torn down a borderline top-5 roster last year? Trading Syndergaard and Glasnow for Longoria is probably the most obvious culprit of this. He also traded everything under the sun for Stanton.

He also traded everything under the sun for Stanton. I still feel like the Stanton trade was possibly a win for TCA long term. But I'm extremely down on Puig at this point and kind of expecting Felix to fall apart in any given season. To Min: 1B Adrian Gonzalez OF Yasiel Puig SP Felix Hernandez 2B Daniel Murphy Clozer Alex Wilson MiLB 5 Travis Demeritte To TCA: OF Giancarlo Stanton SP Tyson Ross OF Daz Cameron 1 MiLB 2MiLB Tyler Stephenson Never understood that Longoria trade though. And then he flips Longo in short order... It was actually Joe Ross, not Tyson. And my reasoning behind the Longoria trade was, Rendon was down with injury, I was running some scrub out there at 3B, and I was trying to compete. Longoria was still hitting good at this point too. I realize now it was a massive overpayment, and Hurl should feel bad for taking advantage of me in my vulnerable state. I then flipped Longoria so that way I could erase any memory of this terrible trade from my team. I can always hope Santana somehow turns into Chris Davis, Right?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 It's extremely annoying how quickly Syndergaard became a Top 20 (Top 10?) pitcher in baseball.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I can always hope Santana somehow turns into Chris Davis, Right? I know this is in jest, but though he doesn't have Davis' ADHD fueled power Santana could be a very pleasant surprise for you.
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 24, 2015 Author Posted November 24, 2015 Also if you want to sift through my trash you can easily rinse the garbage juice off Weaver or Andriese. Oh is this a 30 team league now?

BTS Community Moderator Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Oh is this a 30 team league now? The last time he packaged three similar arms he ended up with deGrom, so you can't blame him for trying.
BTS Community Moderator Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Andriese was a badass in AAA Also. http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=12022&position=P I rostered him in an NA spot for like 3 months hoping he'd get a real chance, but he never did.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 http://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/is-a-j-pollock-a-top-pick/ That's really upsetting.
