I'm obviously biased, but even impartially I think it's cool as f*** the MLB is standing behind Hamilton and his struggles.

 

They're not though. MLB wanted to bring down the hammer, it went to an arbitrator and MLB lost. Then MLB got a little dig in after the fact and said that they will look to make changes to the CBA as a result.

 

Not cool as f***!

Yeah. I don't particularly like Hamilton as a person (from what I've seen/read anyway) but suspending him long term seems more like bullying at this point than actually trying to help him out. He's also not good enough for me to care that much about him being back to help Silvergun.

I was following less closely with him banged up anyway.

 

The arbitrator is probably looking for a new job too. Isn't that what happened with the last one that gave the MLB an outcome they didn't like?

Braun looks beastly this spring, can't wait for the season to start!

 

He had a 1.306 OPS last spring and a 150 wRC+ through May last year. The problem has been that the thumb wears down with repeated use.

as much as that was a great deal for me, I'm glad that I am old and can't remember the early deals I was offered for Pujols that I turned down cause I thought my team was a contender back in year one. I know there were a lot of offers.
