I really don't get trading a pre-prime Top 50 dynasty asset CF for two mid-rotation (at best) starters, one of whom is already injured this spring. I asked on Marte last winter and the demanded asset was Madison Bumgarner.

Everyone's valuations are different. I had a better offer than what I received.... for the NOW. But the players offered were in their 30's and already declining. I'm not in the mood to watch assets decline.

 

As for the other interest. I like Odorizzi and Heaney better than then names that were thrown out.

Lol I don't mean demanded like angry demanded, I just didn't want to write "asked" twice in the same sentence. I don't even think Bumgarner was an unreasonable demand, I just wish you got a player that good in this deal.

I'm never an all-in right now guy, ever. And the leagues where I intentionally stripped my team down to bare bones or started out young/bare bones, never get back to bare bones because of attrition or an all-in approach.
