Not really mean Jay, I see it as harmless fun. I think there might have been a comment or two that took the fun away, but I doubt most people had any ill intention towards Ken.

That thread was hilarious and moogy was a little puke who convinced kgm that a harmless joke was targeted bullying. It was 100% moogy's fault. Unfortunate that kgm got so embarrassed.

We didn't like each other and, not knowing any better, I would point out his horrendous grammar. A lurker sent me a PM to tell me that those typing patterns are typical of people suffering from dyslexia so I never bothered him about it again. Felt pretty awful.

 

Still a prick, though.

And he's old. I didn't even have pc's in High School? He's 20 years my senior, respect is my forte, and still is.

I find the kgm thing pretty sad. Dude just liked chatting about baseball, and at his age joining a forum of younger guys with a different understanding of the game was probably intimidating. I always thought people were a bit too mean-spirited with him. That said, the incident that drove him away wasn't that big a deal. I certainly don't think it should have caused him to leave the forum.

I've asked him back, he doesn't want to. You'd see his first and only comment on mlbtr, he also comments on Stro's injury, wish he stayed here, you can tell he wants to talk about it.

I found his general arrogance unpalatable. I'll always appreciate him for founding the Darrells, though. No one refers to Nox as "noxious" anymore.

My spine went, s*** f***ing happens, to bust an old man, or the guy beside you shoots ten fold, it's a bad practice, Ken, has built both his kids houses, not to mention, his own and Cabin that was burnt down. He rebuilt it. I don't think our message board or feelings were hurt much, Boxy.
