Laika Community Moderator Posted December 31, 2014 Author Posted December 31, 2014 C - Josmil Pinto 1B - Joey Votto 2B - Neil Walker 3B - David Wright SS - Ben Zobrist CF - Denard Span (Pompey) OF - Alex Gordon OF - Steve Pearce UTIL - Chris Davis SP - Max Scherzer SP - Hyun-Jin Ryu SP - Jake Arrieta SP - Danny Salazar SP - Jon Niese SP - Jason Hammel SP - Matt Moore SP - AJ Burnett RP - Greg Holland RP - K Rod RP - Darren O'Day I'm keeping K.Rod but he's on the block for anyone looking for a closer. O'Day is fringe. I could end up keeping a trade acquisition or a 10th bat like Quentin/Moose/Ruiz over him. I'd be fine with 7 SP so I'm open to trading almost any one of them. Outside of Pompey I don't really have any 2015 impact prospects. Manaea and Harvey are probably at least a year away. Chris Taylor is decent SS depth but so low-upside. Jose Ramirez (NY) has a live arm so I guess there's always an outside shot the he turns into a high K holds guy at any moment. Farm in general is a bit thin since I cashed in some prospects this offseason, trading Michael Taylor, Raimel Tapia, and Hunter Renfroe (along with Stroman who was a recent promotee). I'd say that my farm is definitely lower half right now mostly due to a lack of depth (top end is fine).

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Not enough hyphens, exclamation points and terrible jokes that make me want to puke. 0/10 I just simmed the joke on my MLB The Show franchise and it agrees that it's a bad one.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Jaysblue should input the LoD rosters and sim the season for us. This would be interesting. I could do it on MVP Baseball 2003, see how the results differ.
BTS Community Moderator Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 This would be interesting. I could do it on MVP Baseball 2003, see how the results differ. That game was amazing.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 That game was amazing. Played it for hours and hours and hours, dont think i played amy game more then that one. Have it for the GameCube.
TRM Verified Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Anyone else really hope Haren retires because of the comedic value of TRM losing him and Kuroda in the same offseason? It's going to be a grind, that's for sure.
TRM Verified Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Final rosters due at midnight tonight, or is this just flukey timing with everyone posting?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Final rosters due at midnight tonight, or is this just flukey timing with everyone posting? I think it's just a fluke due to attention shifting back to this league after the LOD draft-sanity. Roster cut off was much later last year and I think it's fair to give owners a chance to see what happens in the off season before making final decisions.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Its not til February, and it will never be earlier than that.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Jaysblue should input the LoD rosters and sim the season for us. It would definitely take time editing all the rosters and setting the lineups, though I could give it a try.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 In case you didn't notice I was doing my best Jaysblue impression with those last two paragraphs. Dude what are you talking about?

BTS Community Moderator Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Wow, good on jaysblue for moving Chatwood before the cut, and for a decent pick. Here I am still trying to move Hudson and Buchholz.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 How are you not getting bites on Hudson? Valuable contributor. Tbt to when he went for David Ortiz
BTS Community Moderator Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 How are you not getting bites on Hudson? Valuable contributor. Tbt to when he went for David Ortiz I was already getting despaired before used car salesman jayblue moved an inferior guy who won't even pitch in 2015 for a very early 3rd.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Chatwood suxxxxxxxx. I wouldnt even want him in LOD.
Laika Community Moderator Posted January 1, 2015 Author Posted January 1, 2015 I was already getting despaired before used car salesman jayblue moved an inferior guy who won't even pitch in 2015 for a very early 3rd. 4th!
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 I was already getting despaired before used car salesman jayblue moved an inferior guy who won't even pitch in 2015 for a very early 3rd. There was no used car dealings going on. Jaysblue accepted my first offer and that was that. I don't think I'm competing until Beachy and Skaggs come back anyways so Chatwood made sense for me as an additional stashee. The fact that I nabbed him in the last round of the LOD suggests his market value value is pretty low but I don't care about that. I think he was a steal where I drafted him in the LOD anyways. I love his youth, his groundball tendencies and his overall potential. He's not a fit for everyone but he's a fit for my team. I'm sure another rebuilding owner like Boxy would have wanted him too.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Personally, I don't think Beachy and Skaggs are "vault you into contending" pieces
Laika Community Moderator Posted January 1, 2015 Author Posted January 1, 2015 Skaggs is v good Beachy is v dead Chatwood for 61 is v insignificant
