Nice deal for Rodney. He should be good for about 40 saves again next year unless he totally falls apart. 3rd rounders are virtually worthless IMO.

I want to improve my OF, 2B and pitching. I'd like to be in position to be a playoff team when Jose Fernandez comes back. I have four managers who I have told I will not accept an offer without giving them a chance to match or top it so this will not be a quick process. Adding in that I'm about to enter into mid-terms. I'd prefer you make an offer rather than sending me a "do you like _________" and name 7 players.

I think it can go either way depending on team need. SG's pitching is deep enough that he can also go Darvish for Longo and have a great staff.

Yeah it's the exact opposite direction I wanted to move in right now. I like the value on it though, and plan on moving pitching in a different deal over the offseason.

Wow, I'd easily take the CarGo side. I like his chances of going back to being a top 10 player when healthy.

 

Like the Cueto deal for North. Pence is a superior asset and he cashed in on Cueto's career year IMO.
