Can't you kick yourself out?

Nah he has to remove me.

... I now see why this team is called Bye Week.

I have to kick out my GF first. She said she'd help me with lineups and give me trade advice but she's done f*** all. She will be punished.

Isn't being co-manager for your team punishment enough?

It was fun to have the top two pitchers in baseball by innings pitched, Price and Cueto. They took the ball every fifth day and went deep with sparkling ratios. 32 innings combined in the championship round. It'll be hard to replicate that in 2015.

So I'd like to pick up discussions now with those of you who I discussed a Belt/Butler for SP deal with. Getting this done relatively early in the offseason would be nice.

I hate you. Consider Rusney Castillo forever off the table.

I'll tell you first hand, winning this league is the greatest feeling you can experience (fantasy wise). You feel incredibly satisfied after putting countless hours into ranking, drafting, trading, and managing. Then there's the relief knowing that the first title you've won is out of the way. Even when you're a top contender, the probability of winning is a crapshoot. The best team could end up losing each year, and eventually get shutout completely as their window expires. We'll see long title-less droughts in this league, so when you're able to win it all and pop your title cherry, you appreciate it that much more.

The euphoria you experience over the course of the playoffs is amazing. You win that first matchup and it starts to sink in that you're only two more victories away from the title. Then, you go right down to the wire against another tough opponent and pull off another win. Reality checks in that you're only 7 days away from being the champ if you can beat one last opponent. Then there's that last Sunday, oh my, that last Sunday.. D-Day. It can make or break a season (as it did for me in 2013). When the last pitch is thrown in the last west coast game, and you refresh the scoreboard one more time and see you just become the champion.. it's nirvana.

So basically I feel like this, but the exact opposite.

It hasn't sunk in yet for me, I keep sub-consciously checking the fantasy app on my phone to check the score and my lineup :P

I didn't set myself up for a letdown by getting too excited in the first two rounds since I knew it could all be over with a bit of bad luck, and at times later in the weeks I expected to be. It took a strong Sunday to take each of the three rounds. I went into yesterday losing OBPA, faced Jordan Zimmermann, and still took it due to a .230 mark in 23.2 innings -- that's the kind of magic I enjoyed in each of the past three Sundays. Matt Kemp has homered on each of the past four. I was lucky that you and BTS didn't hit at all, although the final stats have me winning the pitching too 4-3. It was also neat to end your 15-matchup winning streak and prolong my own unbeaten streak to 12 matchups.

Yesterday was the first time I really got fired up... and it should last a while lol. The pressure that comes with not having a title is off now and now I have an opportunity next season to become the titles leader. All those many-team trades that were so ridiculed last offseason were worth it!

Congrats North.

A 2nd place and 3rd place finish on the resume. Gonna be a lot of work to get a 1st on there also, but let's see what can be done.

Everybody, please see league-wide email for some important info.

Darrells, if everybody takes a minute to input a few MLB rosters / numbered picks into the Google Doc, then it won't take any one of us a significant amount of time.

Looks like one Darrell already started to input MLB rosters on the prospects/picks sheet.

You can click onto a completely different excel sheet at the bottom of the Google Doc called "MLB Rosters". I've already inputted all of the team names and 5 team rosters.

If you guys want me to do any brute-force Commishy stuff like taking down names I'd be more than happy to assist in FartBoxy's place

Yeah, s***** timing but I am not really much use right now as I just moved and don't have internet ATM.

What the hell is internet ass-to-mouth?

Nice and tidy fellas!

I don't like doing this, but I just didn't have the roster space for another 1B. I think a lot of people are going to regret passing on Belt.

I'm ready to roll with Nick Castellanos at 3B next year, so if anyone's interested in Aramis Ramirez as a stop gap, hit me up. Looking to move him for pitching or picks/prospects.

Interested in Ramirez for 3B?

I'm pretty comfortable with Headley. 0.347 wOBA and 121 wRC+ after leaving PETCO behind.

I'm hoping he becomes what Eric Hosmer is/was supposed to be (if he stays healthy next year).

He's a better hitter than Hosmer has ever shown to be. 140 wRC+ last year, and 124 for his career. Guy has monster potential, especially if he leaves SF. I thought more people would look past a season riddled by two freak injuries.

I was bummed that I didn't line up better for Belt. The only viable option seemed to be undoing our Salazar-Belt deal from last year... which would be weird.

That would have presented quite the opportunity for pretty severe regret if one of those guys really broke out and another bombed.

Gonna be another fistfight.

I think the offenses are close, especially if Bogaerts takes a step, but your pitching staff is ahead of mine. Kluber becoming a top-5 SP has been really inconvenient for me.
