Laika Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2014 Author Posted August 30, 2014 Anthony Ranaudo is complicating my major league team by being in the majors. He's available for the highest pick offered in the next 12 hours or so. Guy was a former top-100 prospect and he was very stellar in 2013 and 2014 in the upper minors. Young post-hype arm.... should be worth something to someone rebuilding.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Rubby De La Rosa is available and could be package with TDA - he's a young post-hype arm and has had some success up in the big leagues with both Boston and LA.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 It's my stellar pitching staff!
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Ryan Vogelsong available for a prospect.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Ryan Vogelsong available for a prospect. Lmao
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Not sure what you rubes are guffawing about, he's a viable back-end SP, especially compared to the utter junk on the wire. He titled his original announcement that he acquired him "I can't believe I'm trading for Vogelsong" I'm surprised you won't take this opportunity to s*** all over whatever BTS is selling.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I traded for/dealt him, that's just bad business, c'mon son. Moving on, isn't it ridiculous how almost any piece of s*** lefty can carve a career out in the 'pen? Holy f***, I had no idea he was still pitching.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Great deal for FTD imo, not in love with Gio but I consider Hosmer hot garbage. I feel the exact opposite. I think Cats Ass came away with a minor steal. Gio is one of those pitchers whom people seem to think is better than he really is IMO. He's pretty good but as a team gearing for next year I'd rather take the chance on a bounceback from Hosmer. Remember when people were saying the same thing about Anthony Rizzo?

Crossing fingers that he goes Anthony Rizzo next season.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Trade deadline day! I hear silvergun is looking to make some bad decisions. Hit him up!
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Trade deadline day! I hear silvergun is looking to make some bad decisions. Hit him up! I'll inquire about this
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Hmm...not really tbh. In Rizzo's down year he was still acceptable, especially fantasy-wise. 103 wRC+ is meh, but 23 HR is legit In Hosmer's down year(s) he was/is barely rosterable, 80 & 91 wRC+ 14 and 6 HR. Zips still likes him as a 116 wRC+ bat ROS. I wonder if KC discourages hitting for power.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I'm looking to move TDA along with Rubby De La Rosa in a package either for a solid bat or pitcher. All my spects are available as well and I could move some veteran pieces off my club such as Mike Napoli or Carlos Beltran. Heck I've even entrained offers for Freddie Freeman the other day and was close to making a deal. I'm open to anything.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Things I'd like to do today: - Vogelsong for a prospect - Belt for a SP
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I'd also do Quack if that's less painful. I'll probably just get a holds guy off the waiver wire if Benoit hits the DL.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Felix Doubront looked sharp in his Cubs debut. I know BTS loves him. He's available for a spect/pick.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I DO NOT endorse Felix Doubront.

Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 You know you take this league too serious when you're on vacation and you: a) still complete a significant trade spend $20 on traveller's internet just because it's deadline day

GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 FTD you're on the clock in the basketball league. I'm assuming no one PM'd you so we won't skip your clock.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 So someone is going to have to post the details of that Lynn trade.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Hahahah, ALL the bench bats! You sure are cornering the market on RH platoon guys. boldstrategycotton.gif
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 It's entirely possible I'm drunk enough to have thought Turner a left handed bat. In my defense, that weasel z3r0s didn't rush to correct me! Oh well, I bet he gets 2 hits tomorrow, #worthit. <--I hate myself already, don't comment. lol

Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I probably won't be making many moves today. However, I'm curious to see what I could get for Melancon. 29 year old with exceptional peripherals -- should be a solid bet for 40+ saves the next few years. I'm wasting him since he's the only closer I own. If you're looking for another lights out closer, send an offer my way.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I'll give you the highest pick I own for Qualls.
Fearthedoc Verified Member Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 RotoWire News: Turner's playing time could dwindle following Juan Uribe's activation from the DL on Sunday. (8/31/2014) lolllllll I've never felt so rolled over a 4th rounder. I'd sooner light him on fire! Maybe you can flip him for Lance Lynn.
