KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Travis d'Arnaud could still be moved if anyone is interested in a young catcher - since his promotion, he's 42-for-158 (.266) with eight homers, and 10 doubles, showing some serious pop for a catcher. I like d'Arnaud a lot. I'd be willing to invest in him as my COF but someone in the league would have to give me a good return for Rosario to make it worthwhile.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Catchers are funny. I bet a lot of people weren't very interested in acquiring Mesoraco before this year.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Also, I can't believe we gave Yan Gomes away for nothing. Jesus Christ.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Catchers are funny. I bet a lot of people weren't very interested in acquiring Mesoraco before this year. A year from now Mesoraco is probably back in the pack of like 15 interchangeable guys behind Posey, Gattis, and Lucroy.

Posey has been pretty disappointing this year, I think there's a pretty strong argument that Lucroy is the better long-term fantasy asset at this point.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Yadier? Yadier is a clear notch below those guys.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 You know your Rotation is bad when you have to put 2 Astros in there due to injuries....
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 21, 2014 Posted August 21, 2014 Getting Lucroy from TRM for nothing basically cancels out giving Donaldson to TRM for nothing? Speaking of which, is TRM stil alive?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Anybody interested in an Anibal + Allen Craig 2-for-1?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Anybody interested in an Anibal + Allen Craig 2-for-1? For my 1st rounder?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I'd also like to do a 2for1 with 2 of these guys, James Shields, Josh Hamilton, or Adrian Gonzalez.

SpeedyGose Verified Member Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Looking to acquire a starter. Would move Peralta or Seth Smith
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 I really need to stop ditching useful, young ones for pennies. deGrom, Shoemaker, Jeff Locke... You probably should have kept Shoemaker and traded me Liriano for a 1st when I offered.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 He was putrid last time out, but 3.09/2.87 FIP/xFIP w/ 9.86 K/9 and 3.21 BB/9 post-ASB, his stock has improved if anything. Damn, I hadn't realized he had been good. For some reason I remembered 1-2 awful lines and saw you bitching and assumed he had sucked.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 With my 1st for Odorizzi (since flipped for Jansen.) I thought Norris had peaked for the year and might get exposed a bit at AAA, erm, OOPS. Your dumn
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 So Boxy gets Castillo. That's right! #blessed
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 That's right! #blessed I didn't know Boxy was still in high school.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Have had discussion with a couple teams on a starter. Might make a move soon. Anyone else have one available?
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Have had discussion with a couple teams on a starter. Might make a move soon. Anyone else have one available? James Shields...
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 James Shields... Not sure I have the expandable assets for him, but you can PM me.
BTS Community Moderator Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Anybody have a shortstop who kinda sucks, but maybe not quite as much as guys available in free agency? I'm a bit scared that Bogaerts got concussed and may need to replace his 0.627 OPS in my lineup on the cheap.
