Although jaysblue almost certainly MEANT Micah, the fact that he wrote "Michal Johnson from the White Sox," combined with the White Sox having another (non)prospect named "Michael Johnson" leaves him without much of a leg to stand on. The onus is on the drafter to be specific about the player they are drafting.

I literally didn't think for one second that North's spot was ever in jeopardy. Like, not even a 1% of me thought Nick was being serious. There was never any conflict; it was just some good ol' ball busting.

 

Also, the North/jaysblue events were completely isolated from the A/AA inquiries.

Seems fair though. He had a year to fix his mistake and even though the mistake is obvious in hinsight, NOof49 probably wasn't aware of it when he drafted. The pick was made in good faith. On the Micah Johnson front, if it's determined that Jaysblue meant to draft Micah (which I think it is) in the first place, then he can have him and I'll draft someone else. I like other available guys about the same amount as Micah, so it doesn't matter to me.

 

I may merely be pointing out the obvious here but in order to (please) avoid another s*** show, make sure to pick up your player before the FA dealdine of 5pm ET.
