Mitch Marner got carjacked around 8pm tonight.

You mean like Reese McGuire carjacked or Grand Theft Auto carjacked?

Good point - it might be more like 65 points.

Look how awful this Esa Tikkanen goal is in 1991. Vernon looks like he's standing in a soccer net and he just stands there.

lol... I know what different eras look like, but that's not how you rate those eras. Think of it as adjusting wRC+ from year to year, Gretzky was/is the best of all time.

It's near impossible to compare era's and even harder to truly determine one player was truly the best of all time IMO. I do however think the gap in talent in the 1980's was significantly larger than it is today and that was one of the biggest reasons why Wayne and Mario simply dominated. They were men amongst boys, whereas today, the top players are more like men amongst teenagers. The $$$ available to these players brought on way more training and that has closed the gap significantly. I think that's true across every sport. Where once the naturally gifted players stood heads and shoulders above the rest, they now just keep their head above the rest (and must put in just as much effort as the rest to stay there).

Agreed for the most part, that's why the pundits always ask, what would it be like if they played in this era of said training etc, I believe guys like Wayne and Mario would dominate this era if they had the same advantages, Gretzky transcended the game of hockey, as did Bobby Orr before him, etc... and kids just keep getting better, it's wild what you can see them do on youtube.

Sad this stuff is even happening in Toronto. Let alone, in the west end in Etobicoke which is a pretty safe part of the city.

These *******s target the nice areas, apparently these car jacking's have gone way up.

I forgot the hockey started back up last night, but my body is ready for the Flames tonight.

How does that goal count, Tkachuk wasn't supposed to come out of the box? I don't get it.

Bieksa just said there’s a rule that they could pick who gets out first. f***ed if I knows!

f*** man, the Lightning have steamrolled the Panthers. f***ing Leafs... :(

Playing the Leafs in the first round is like taking your car to the mechanic for a tune up. Tampa is rolling, like Montreal rolled to the finals last year, and Boston to the finals in 2019.
