Not sure why the Bs didn’t bother trying game one, just come out and belt the Leafs in the mouth twice and they’ll crater on the spot.

That was a legit terribly officiated game, they missed a handful of calls on the Leafs too in fairness.

At least it happened in a game they clearly deserved to lose.

What's gonna frustrate me even more than the game is how nonchalant everyone will be after the game. I wish these guys would show some damn emotion and anger... Especially after a game like this.

Hot take.

I agree, they sucked ass tonight. Kadri was really good tonight, that was stupid by Kadri, idiot.

He's panned out damn well for when they took him, but it seems like he does something stupid or selfish once a game at least.

That s*** drives me up the f***ing wall, especially in the playoffs, they were still in the game!

My issue is it hurts moving forward, f*** off at being selfish. Ughh...

f***.

Sorry. I had a chance to live bet the Avs at 16 to 1 odds after the second Calgary goal and didn't take it, so I knew this would happen.

This is the Boston I've been waiting for. Aggressive. Walk the line between chippy and dirty. It's playoff hockey. The whistles go away. The Leafs need to put on their big boy pants if they want any shot in this series.

f*** this narrative. Boston is old as dirt and the Leafs are more talented. They need to play their game. One bad game on the road offsetting the first one doesn't make the series. Hopefully those refs get shot into the sun. I do agree that refs pulling back is an advantage to Boston's game though plenty of missed calls both sides.

Looking at the play again, Nazem really f***ed the Leafs, again.

I would've moved him for a D man as he's valuable and has a great contract but he's exactly what we need more of. He's the only guy that have a s*** last night... Aside from Freddy.

Did you pick that up from Don Cherry? How do you know that these guys don't care? Boston played their game and frustrated the team, made worse by the refs. The one skater that cared in your eyes took a f***ing boarding penalty that put the Leafs shorthanded for the duration of the game, eliminating all possibility of a comeback, no matter how remote. The Leafs really don't need more of that. What they do need to do is to use their superior speed, talent and youthful legs to play their game, get out in front early and force Boston to not play their s***** 90's style NHL. Game one showed us there is absolutely no excuse. This team can run circles around Boston and Rask isn't the saviour he was back in the day. The $50 million coach was hired because of his extreme coaching skills so it's time for him to use that skill to tell this team what an armchair QB on a message board can figure out.

Not really correct to say the Boston is old / plays a s***** 90s style. They have arguably the best first line in hockey and some very mobile defensemen. They basically play a modern possession style with high level skill on the first line and an elite power play. The grungy / old school / rough aspects of their team are pretty minor, and a bit of a perception hangover from the team around the time of their cup run. I guess relative to the current NHL they probably are tougher than most teams but it doesn’t strike me as a defining thing anymore.

I mean their best player is Patrice Bergeron, the definition of a gentleman.

The Penguins look like hot garbage.

Isles have made a lot of teams look like that. I'm on the bandwagon.

I would love it so much if the Islanders swept the Leaves after their franchise player left to join them

The Isles finishing ahead of the leafs in the standings after the Leafs signed their franchise player is amazing. They're a really interesting team. They also brought the former leaves GM in, who promptly hired the best coach in the league, and they went from giving up the most goals in the league last year to the fewest this year.
