I thought that about Florida coming into the year, but sweet mother of christ they've been bad.

 

Their forwards remind me of the Kingston frontenacs. They alll play like it's their first game above pewee hockey and have no idea what to do when they cant simply just go around the whole team.

Gabriel Landeskog - W - Avalanche

Gabriel Landeskog apparently had to explain why he didn't fight Boston's Milan Lucic on Thursday night.

"That's one of the best fighters in the league. It's one thing to stand up for your teammates, but you can't be dumb doing it," said Landeskog. "For me, just coming off a concussion last year, you've got to be smart. I respect him as a player and he's one of the toughest in the league and I don't want to fight him. A guy who's had only one fight in the league, I think guys around the league would agree that's a bad tradeoff." Landeskog was trying to get Lucic off of P.A. Parenteau and then the Boston forward wanted to fight with the Avs captain. Both players received roughing minors, but Lucic was assessed an extra 10-minute misconduct for his actions.
