That said, since the NHL expanded from the original six there has only been ONE coach in NHL history to have won a Stanley Cup with more than 1 team. That coach is the GOAT, Scottie Bowman. I couldn't believe when I heard that stat.

 

Statistically, it's almost a certainty that Berube won't win a cup with the Leafs... Nor will any other Stanley Cup winning coach once they move off the team they won with.

Yes - I think so.

 

At the OMHA level, players are getting suspended for like 8 games for any cursing or swearing on the ice. There is a pretty major crackdown on it and from my seat, the kids have all adjusted pretty well. There is still some chirping (my oldest was U14 last year), but it's certainly not what it used to be - just as fighting isn't what it was when I played U14. I think overall, that's good for the game.

 

I didn't read that article, but I do wonder if "hate speech" was added to grab clicks. I'm pretty sure neutral statements like "you're a f***ing moron" or "*******" carry the same weight as calling someone a "**********".
