All the times of being a pussy makes the “real” injuries not look bad I guess. Everybody knew he was going on the IL any day before the playoffs. I know he’s not on the IL as of yet.

So if Murray is done for the rest of the year there’s gotta be no chance TB sees Sammy next week when we play. They will be gunning for him knowing they get Woll if Sammy’s gets hurt. And I don’t get why people are saying the games this past couple weeks don’t matter, like wtf? It’s possible that home ice comes down to the game vs TB

Home ice is in jeopardy only if the Leafs completely collapse and the Bolts run the table and catch them.

The only other thing that really matters is making sure the team is as healthy as possible going in to game 1. That includes resting key pieces in games where you think things might get chippy.

 

At this point they're not going to learn anything new or become a great shutdown defensive team. They are what they are. Let's hope they stay in one piece.

Yup, they need 3 wins out of their next 5 to pass these guys.

 

The Presidents' Trophy goes to the NHL regular-season points leader. Boston broke a tie with the 1970-71 team for the franchise victory mark and moved four away from tying the NHL record of 62 set by Detroit in 1995-96 and matched by Tampa Bay in 2018-19.

Look at what Kypreos did to Grant Fuhr back in 95 or 96 against the Blues in the first round. He accidentally crashed into him on purpose and knocked him out of the series. Leafs couldn't beat Jon Casey either so it was a moot point, but it could and has happened. I don't think anyone will purposely B-line it to Samsonov and try to remove his head, but if they're in the crease area and happen to get knocked towards the goalie, they're gonna fall into him a little harder than normal.

Really a different era though. That's like, significantly closer to the Mike Milbury shoe incident than it is to today.

I think you're giving the players way too much credit for being "good sportsmen". I guarantee you there are players on every team that be very enthusiastic in the crease once the chips are down and things get serious.

I just purchased SN Premium (roll up the rim) and I’m getting the Leafs game which I’m surprised but the game is a TSN feed. Is this a common thing? TSN on SN.
